    I find it difficult to differenciate between the illegal killings of animals in the wide and the killings in the Middle East over the past years. Obama has more than Planet in Peril to deal with when he assume office. The Climate is indeed changing.

    It's like fighting a war on crime, you can never wipe it out, you can only control it.
    We faced a similar threat against Communism, and the strategy was to contain it and work at the edges to unravel it from within instead of trying to defeat it directly. The same is true of terrorism, you have to contain it, but at the same time, take advantage of it's weaknesses and gradually isolate it until it falls apart from within its own people.

    I wonder what any Arab country would do if the launching pads were directed at cities and towns in Egypt or elsewhere and 60+ missiles are fired everyday at Egyptian towns or Jordanian towns or anywhere in the Arab countries. What would Egypt do or any other Arab country? We know the answer. But do they acknowledge that Israel is defending itself against terrorist organization forced on the Palestinian people who suffer at the hands of Hamas and not Israel. When the Arabs will get. Fairness or objectivity does not exist; this is why they are in the mess they are in. Get real and direct the blame to Hamas not Israel and teach your people that blind following will not work and fairness is one way to move forward. I feel sorry for the Palestinian people but not for Hamas.

    With the right strategy, Obama would be able to change this. However, the fact that Obama said he would be sending 2 brigades of soldiers in Afghanistan, tells me that he is following Bush' strategy in fighting global terrorism. During his campaign, he said he would pull out our soldiers from Iraq to save $10 Billion Dollars a month. That $10 billion would be spent to help our ailing economy. By pulling soldiers from Iraq and committing them in Afghanistan would be the same thing. This is not the way to fight global terrorism which has been fought from 9/11. I strongly believe that with the right strategy, the CIA, with the right strategy would be able to control global terrorism, yes you read it right, control terrorism at 70% while the ground troops at about 30%. This strategy would save America so much money and our soldiers would be a lot safer. Using the same basic strategy would enable Obama to arrange reasonable positions in the Middle East (Iran, Hamas, Israel, Syria) for a lasting peace. If this strategy is not adapted by Obama, stabilizing our economy and spending money fighting global terrorism as well as dealing with the current situation in the Middle East would be costly on our part in many ways but positive.

    One problem with this strategy: Is Obama and his staff willing to listen to ordinary citizens of this country? If he is willing to listen, I am willing to do a presentation, that's about 5 hours and I am looking at savings lives in the Middle East (Gaza and Israel) , Afghanistan, protect our soldiers, save billions of dollars and concentrate on fixing our economy. With our economy fixed, we would be able to financially help the economy and politics of Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Middle East.

    When looking at the Israeli's and Hamas, there is only one of the two which has a doctrine to drive the other into the ocean. There is only one of the two that teach there children the other uses the blood of their children in religious rituals. There is only one of the two, that are proud that their child has strapped explosives to their body and went to kill innocent civilians. There has never been a Palestinian State, so to give them back something that never was does not make sense. To qoute Golda Meyer, "We can forgive them for killing our children, We can not forgive them for making us kill their children. Only when they love their children more then they hate ours, can we have peace."

      People with brain will have a reason to hate someone. People with brain know that anyone who generalize hate about a race, religion, or gender is someone who either does not have a brain or chooses not to use it. I think that your general statement speaks for itself and place you in good place where you will not suffer any pain thinking about a bad situation (in the middle east). Where a small group of Hamas terrorists have declared that they want the destruction of a state (Israel) and basically target civilians for long 8 years firing thousands of rocket. (Partly supplied by Iran who???s president declared his intentions for the destruction of Israel.) And now after thousands of warnings they cry that the response is ???not proportional???.

      The key is that Hamas openly targets Israeli civilians. That is a war crime!

      Fact is that they are doing so (Firing their rockets) from school areas, near a hospital, from houses that have innocent people living there. That is a war crime!!

      And finally that ???democratically elected terrorist organization??? has published its intensions to eliminate the state of Israel and kill all Jews.

      But not to worry! This is not the end for these people. If you think that they have a different ???solution??? for Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, or atheists. You better read the Koran (or their interpretation of it) which basically calls for a world of Muslims and life under the Sharia ??? Muslim law system. (Not a democracy but a system where everyone lives under the Muslim Koran law created in the 7th century.)

      BTW just to reflect a small point, any non believer should be killed or made to pay for the right to live. Women have no rights???. And there is plenty more, just look at Iran as an example for life under Muslim law. Forget about your night out with the boys at the local bar. You can not drink your alcohol in any form under Sharia! First time you steal something you loose one arm. (2nd time there goes the other) the only good thing about that is that you can not touch or hold hand with a girl. If you think that you do not need hands to have sex, better understand what happens if you have sex out of wedlock = you are stoned to death.

      Anyone supporting Hamas in Gaza just understand, this in NOT a local problem! Europe is finding it now. It is the same people who support 911 and bomb the London underground. If Obama will try to do the same as Bush (Import 21st century democracy to a 7th century belief system.) Then he will have the same results. These people are using democracy and the democratic process against us in a very good way and unless we truly invest the time and effort to understands the nature of the problem instead of just invading the country (like we did in Iraq) with no exit strategy other then ???we will bring democracy and they would love use for that and be our allies??? . We better get ready to live under Sharia law here in the USA

    If you are expelled out of your home land how would you feel? If you are blocking the food for humans then one day you will be punished with hunger. If you are attacking the shelter, schools and places of worship then you are inhuman and GOD will wipe out the whole population of cowered killers of innocents. Compare how many israelii people got killed and how many Palestinians. If International community is meadiating the halt of this killing and you are preventing them then recognize yourself who you are?

      Chico what you say is simply not true. We Americans certianly do go into Moslem countries, and have done so frequently. Kaled as a right to live where he wants whether it is a western country or not, and he has every right to express his opinion in order to affect change. What he does not have a right to do, nor do any of us, is to violence. Israel was certainly NOT 'the best thing' that ever happened to these people. It was a horrible disaster visited upon them by foreign powers. Having said that, Israel is established and is not going anywhere, so much be dealt with accordingly as a legal state.
