    Wow! I can't believe HolyRoller is still around. I remember early last year when he was on Newsweek forums every day spreading blatant lies about Obama being a Muslim. It's both funny and sad that he still has nothing better to do than spread lies about our President-Elect (President in another week or so, thank God!).

    HolyRoller has proven, repeatedly, that he is interested in nothing more than using homophobic and racial slurs and spreading blatant lies about Obama. Just ignore him. Now that we have a competent leader, it's time to let him go back to his trailer and cry.

      It's not a lie...he was raised as a mohammed. I haven't heard of any death sentences handed down...so I suppose he must still be a mohammed-in-good-standing. Qaddafi says he is...Kenya says he is...Indonesia says he is...his school records are very clear...as is his half-brother, half-sister, and former friends.

      Homophobic? No...he should just fess up....His nickname isn't Homobama for nuthin...former bbf Larry Sinclair has a new tell all book out very soon...and...there is that pesky "natural born" issue that isn't going away a MILLION DOLLARS to keep his birth certificate secret?)...and I haven't even started with his Chicago buddies....

    Well, this is to be completely expected. The far left thought they were gonna run rampant over Washington and the American people, all the while expecting the people to pay for it. When their self-appointed "messiah" isn't checking in with mother Pelosi and father Reid its appropriate that they would start running around crying the "sky is falling the sky is falling." All I know is that the next 4, maybe 8, years will be one of divine comedy. My "hope" is that there will still be an American alive at the end of it all.

    I'm at a loss as to why people are complaining about Mr. Obama. Hello?! He is not president yet! He has no real power! He can't force anyone to do anything! He can only strongly suggest! That is why Mr. Obama is repeatedly stating 'the United States has only one president at at time!" You complainers get a clue!!

      You don't have a clue....I know quite a bit about history and politics...certainly enough to know this....America is in a serious crisis economically...a crisis that will soon to be overshadowed by fear and confusion.     It may help to look at both sides, both have done stupid things.This much I know I would have elected Obama if he had been republican or independent because he was the best candidate. He is pragmatic and looks for result.
    I think americans who understand realize we cannot always vote for the party if the agenda they support is not put in to practice. Republicans have always allowed the government to grow and deficits to grow.It seems to me you republicans should push your party to leave up to their promess rather than play to special interest at our expense.
    Not to mention deregulation, as Reagan deregulated the savings and loan we had another blowout because of greed and lack of supervision. They have been the party to allow Wall Street to run wild with the banks after deregulation in 1999, an act pushed and seeked by the republicans who allowed any bank to get in the business of bundling this mortgages and derivatives. Time for change, big time.

    Why are you - both sides - still bashing Bush or running Obama into the ground? You sound like Congress. It seems that the idiot gene runs through our society. We can't afford to blame anyone any more....it's done....we're in a real bind.

    If we don't become Americans first, then China and all the other countries who we owe money to should just take over. I'm sure you, Republicans and Democrats, would just love a dictatorship where you wouldn't be allowed to express your opinions. Freedom isn't only the ability to be dumb and intractable, it's the right to come together to preserve our way of life.

    If any of you think you want to disparage the United States and can't stand the way we will apply CPR to the economy, health care, jobs, and everything else....then leave. I'm sure, with your very clean records, you will be able to get or use your passport. Then you can try to open your mouths and probably get a gun stuffed in it.

      In addition, if we are all for critiquing our grammar, I think the phrase you were attempting to use is "maybe you should CHECK you envy at the door..."

    Some of your liberal readers seem a bit sensitive over any criticism of Obama or the Dems. And perhaps they have some valid points UNLESS we rembember that:

    1) The liberals and media have spent 8 years trying at all costs to embarass and humiliate Pres Bush and Republicans for incompetency, lack of strategy, ....etc. What comes around goes around. Liberals have the right to do so, but then they can't ALL of a SUDDEN change and start calling criticism of their guy unfair and nitpicking. Some of the criticisms of Bush, etc have been valid, but much has also been bogus and exagerated.
    2) The media's crush on Obama has been obvious and quite frankly embarassing. He's always been given the benefit of the doubt where others have not. Recently I've read several supposed objective news sources call his transition the "smoothest and most seamless in history" or something similar. Maybe it is or maybe it's not, or maybe the media just loves speaking well of him no matter what. In any case, if the positive superlatives are going to be lavished on him, so must the criticisms when the waves get rough and the statements by he and his administration are confusing or even contradictory.
    3) Finally, one of the most un-reported stories of the election cycle was the number of Democrats across the country under the gun for ethical issues (this was true even before the Blago mess in Illinois). In rapid succession we had the sex and lying scandal of the Detroit mayor Kirkpatrick, the Elliot Spitzer (NY governor) prostitution ring mess, the John Edwards (Dem Pres candidate) adultery story which had been covered up, the Tim Mahoney (Dem congressman) multiple mistress story, and then the Charles Rangel money scandals (not reporting taxable income) which still has yet to be gone over. Certainly Repubs have embarassed their brand name in prior years. BUt when they did, the media was there to make sure we all knew about it. But now with the Dems, will they do the same or will they choose not to connect the dots for us? So far they haven't, but we'll wait and see if reporters can be objective and balanced again.

Who else, besides a Messiah....could associate with as many low-life, filthy scum as Hussein and not be tainted or be involved in corruption. We are so blessed. Now if he would just show his birth-certificate instead of spending over $1,000,000 TO KEEP IT HIDDEN...I guess that is too much to ask....being born in Kenya might be kinda embarrrasing, huh.

    Wow, just wow. Just about everything is everybody's fault except Obama. Poor baby being picked on by those mean old Democrats.
    First of all, the Burris incident is 100% his fault. He totally miscalulated his own community's reaction to how Burris was treated. He also played Burris for a punk, Burris took him to school.
    Burris called Obama before this story even broke to discuss it with them, to see if there was common ground. Obama didn't take his call & didn't return his call. Stupid, simply stupid.
    BTW. A former AG, Comptroller & proseceutor is not some chump in the political arena get your facts straight.
    So with Burris he got what his hand called for.
    Richardson, he knew what time it was back during the election with Richardson's buddy. The guy was a major donor of Obama's, again he got what his hand called for.
    Panetta...no words....not even stupid describes that debacle.
    So however bad his week was & no matter how Andrea Mitchell ALWAYS tries to be his spinmaster, it was ALL his fault. Get a big box of popcorn, inexperience & arrogance will give you many more weeks like this.
