As you can read in this article, palestinians as a whole have been brainwashed for many years...even before the origins of hamas in 1987...to hate and kill their next door neighbors....
That no matter how much Fatah tries to be a more conservative warrior, this group will still be looking for conflict.
So a two state solution seems farther and farther away.
However, the idea of having Egypt and Jordan sharing leadership over palestinians could be the biggest light bulb idea ever stroke.
After all, palestinians are nothing more than part egyptian and part jordanian-their languages, costumes and culture are the same.

This is simply a fair right fir Israel to defend themselves and preserve their right to sxist as a state. Hamas fired rockets into Israel and they responded with force to try to permanently stop Hamas from ever firing rockets into Israel and protect the people of Israel. When you have nations like Iran saying: " We will wipe Israel off the map and death to the Jews", Israel has to take every threat seriously and respond with overwhelming force. Many people wish for peace in the region, but peace seems so distant and a lot of innoccent people have to suffer. Palestinians need not to blame Israel, but blame Hamas for bringing war and death to them. It is the militia groups in Gaza that are provoking Israel, get rid of the Islamic extremist milita groups in Gaza and maybe a peace agreement can be worked out.

Mahmmoud look at the big picture here. Arabs wont let Isreal exist they have to defend themselves. Maybe Hamas should care about their civilians and not launch rockets from residential areas?

I've been hearing for about the last forty years how the Great Armies of Islam would make the land a stinking graveyard of infidel corpses running rivers of infidel blood, God willing. Well evidently, God ain't willing. Maybe the remaining option is to seek a more sympathetic god. The Arab world and Israel is like dogs chasing a rabbit. The dogs run for their lunch, but the rabbit runs for his life.

I think Israel is fed up with talk from the international community.

I wonder if Israel were to launch missiles into Paris, Rome, Berlin, London without any regard for where they might land and not expect some form of retaliation, and I would suspect it would not be 'even' handed either.
