    This gose for all milliatary news for one stop talking about all this last strong hold and bs given the enimy all this info you have. Alls your doing is boosting thier meral and giveing them info that we dont want them to have. O and secound off dont ever tell the us that the millitary is a potential terrist threat now we just contradidcted the whole war on terrisom good job. Nice immage.

    Most of the smaller parties dont stand a chance...its a sad system that needs a little work to get every voice heard

    Very few of these small parties featured in this article are likely to do well in the elections. The new election law favors large parties. Seats will be handed out proportionally to how well parties or candidates do across the entire province. That means these small local politicians and parties are rarely going to get enough votes to be seated. There are some exceptions such as Basra where the ruling parties have been largely discredited, but in much of the rest of the country, the current ruling parties, The Dawa, the Supreme Council, the Accordance Front, and the Kkurds are likely to just switch seats.
