    This is why the system is broken. The loser in a recount can mount so many legal challenges so as to render the winner impotent until the courts have been exhausted. The Republicans seem to have gotten used to magically winning recounts even when the numbers go to the Democrats.

    Al Franken. It would be a real "comforting" thought to have this clown in the Senate. Maybe other idiots such as Rosie O'Donnell, Bill Moron er Maher, and Ted Turner will run for the Senate as well. With a brain such as Princess Caroline "you know, like, uh" Kennedy and Franken (who was a lousy comedian and writer), we will fall even further down. Honestly, Franken has to have his mom put an "L" on his left shoe and a "R" on his right shoe. Franken's brain is so toasted he still couldn't tell the difference between right and left.

    The folks in Georgia have it right. If you don't win 50% of the vote, there's a runoff election. The Minnesota Republicans will get some of my $ without even asking.

    Who would give up a perfectly good job as a comedian to become a United States Senator, usually a humorless bloviator who never has any fun. Sitting around reading all of the bills that are presented to become law has to be the worst thing that a man with a sense of humor would ever have to do. Give it back to Coleman and tell them that you were just kidding. Live a decent life.
