Well, yes. The driving factor in US policies, has always been the filthy jew. In all history, the jew has corrupted, manipulated, and strove to control that which has never been theirs. If you think this is harsh, what about all the other "races" that are emerging as "world leaders" in our doings. The United States of America does not need any part of the world to dictate to us. Yet, O-boy-ama is allowing just that. Kick this scum out!

Bush is a pig. he may not of had the balls to order the WTC bombing but he could have stopped it ,4000 thousand people were blown t dust. He is responsible for this thing. Marvin Bush was the head of security for the Towers and the airport that the highjackers flew out of.the 911 thing was a complete mess, just the idea that he is void of responsibity,is a criminal thot.
this pathetic administration from LBJ on down is an enigma of vast violent behaviors....except Carter.
ps .have any of you head about the Daschle report. Bush /Cheny called Toms' office "Lay off the 911 investigation "
Daschles' office recieves the Antrax letters in the Mail(US) and they blame the whole thing on the Chemist.
Why are we debating Bush responsibility, it is not a point of view it should be a criminal investigation.AIPAC-NO!

Two more days until history. T-W-O!!!!!!!!!!!! Mark your calendars for a true changing of the guard. It's why the Constitution was written!!!!

How are you sure that there will be true change? What has Obama done to prove that he is reliable. Just because he promises, does not mean that he will do or will be capable of doing those things. How about the fact that he will distribute tax-payers money for those on Welfare? Almost 50% of the Americans are on some type of assistance from the government? That % will increase by the time Obama's 4 year term is over, just watch the statistics. America spends much more on Welfare than the war in Iraq. But the liberal media seems to avoid this information. Does any of you watch FoxNews? At least they are saying things the way they are.

Seems to me this arguement that bush "kept us safe" doesn't hold water The fact is these Muslim extremists object to American policy and we know have declared war,
The policy of the Bush administration has only served to strenghten both their numbers and resolve; We see an increase in the Taliban and Al Queda effort in Afgahanistan and now in Pakistan so the war on terror has lost ground.
Certainly it appears the perpetrator of 9/11 is more likely to die from old age watching the news on his 42" HD TV than be captured or killed.
Personally I think Bin Laudin was allowed to escape, had he been captured or killed it would have brought some sense of closure and he would not have been the emotional trigger needed to invade Iraq. Rumsfeld knew this as did Bush and Cheney.
But the fact bin Ladin is still a free man and the support and numbers of Al Queda have increased; America is in more danger not less and as such Bush's war on terror is an absolute failure that he will pass on to Obama.
If anything has prevented another attack it is the world wide improvement of airport security not anything GW Bush has done.

    • Posted By: mrsnenkova @ 01/27/2009 10:23:47 AM

Please let us know how are you sure that bush and Cheney knew that Bin Laden "was allowed to escape"? Do you have concrete evidence or is it the liberal media spreading lies. As far as Bush keeping us safe, yes he did. Remember how many other times America was attacked on her own soil prior to Bush's presidency? It is sad that we seem to forget details of our history and get cought up with our anger regarding the failing economy, but don't you see that the economy is a global issue and Bush might have contributed to the bad American economy, but his contribution is minor to what is happening around the world.

For those of you who are hopping that Obama will bring a true change, I would say, hold your horses. Bush used the American money for war, Obama will use it for Welfare. Did you know that almost 50% of Americans are on some type of assistance and do not contribute taxes for the country. What about the war on Wellfare? I am signing for that one.

I am so sick of these fools and articles like this. Only 70 years ago a totalitarian dictator embarked upon a strategy of illegally militarizing a country and then we turned a blind eye while the countries of Europe appraoched the situation with a disastorous policy of appeasement. Getting rid of Saddam and the Tailban were the right things to do; how soon we forget the numerous times Saddam refused to allow UN weapons inspectors into the country and gave them the run around. If history has taught us anything it is that, as Reagan said, war begins when governments believe the price of aggresion is cheap. We can not play innocents abroad in a world that is not innocent; 50--70 years from now the decision to invade Iraq and Pakistan will be viewed differently than they are today. I am no W lover, or war monger, but simply put the world is a better place today without Saddam or the Taliban in it.

    • Posted By: BillyShears67 @ 01/16/2009 10:18:17 PM

Didn't Israel disobey more U.N. treaties than Iraq? Why aren't we invading them?

      • Posted By: NoSanctuary @ 01/19/2009 3:16:21 AM

I don't think anyone disagrees that Saddam deserved retribution. I think they just disagree with the methods used to carry it out. What was done was just not right. Surely you can see that.

    • Posted By: C. MacLean @ 01/16/2009 5:54:53 PM

Uh, let me point out that contrary to your notion that we got rid of the Taliban, they are alive and well and up to their old tricks, and several new ones. However, if Bush hadn't been so obsessed with Saddam and Iraq, maybe we might have gotten rid of the Taliban. But we'll never know now.

And we haven't invaded Pakistan. You may wish to brush up on your knowledge of geography and current events.

We'll all be conjecturing for years about why Bush invaded Iraq. On the surface, there are several things to point to, but we just don't know. One theory is that he wanted to turn Iraq's oil spigot on for Uncle Sam; another theory says he merely wanted to control the flow of oil from Iraq so that the price wouldn't get too low (which would make his oil buddies unhappy). Some people think he wanted to attack Iraq because Saddam "tried to kill his Dad." Others believe the war was driven by ideology, the naive hope of neo-conservatives that making Iraq democratic would somehow make the rest of the Middle East fall in line. Others think he heard the voice of God telling him to invade Iraq (didn't he say that, in fact?), while some think he was trying to be better than his old man. Then a sizable number subscribe to the theory that he was just plain stupid and thought it would be an easy path to glory for himself.

Who the hell knows? Does he even know? Well, we may never know WHY, we can only judge him because he DID it, and HOW he did it. And that seems to be pretty damned deceitful, any way you look at it. There was a period there when the rationale for invading Iraq was changing every week, and I'm not even sure which one he finally settled on, but I think it was "to bring democracy to Iraq." Well, he knew the American public would never support a war just to bring democracy to Iraq, so we wound up being saturated with the BS about WMDs and "mushroom clouds" and so on. Regardless of whether or not we knew if there were WMDs in Saddam's arsenal, I don't think there's much disagreement about his gross exaggeration of the potential threat to us or our national security. Lots of countries have WMDs, for Pete's sake, but I don't see us invading them. And there are plenty of unsavory dictators in the world, too, but we are strangely silent about those African dictators who have no oil reserves and thus don't concern us.

No doubt about it, it was his war, but we the taxpayers have to foot the bill, and all those American and Iraqi casualties have to be mourned by someone other than him.

Far too much is being made of Cheney's role. Cheney was far to busy running the oil business both to his and Bush's benefit, does no one pay attention? Cheneys income increased from 1.6 million to 3.2 million just between 2006 and 2007, and that doesn't count anything from Halliburton or KBR since they use banks in the Caymans to avoid tax's and detection.
Aside from his support for torture the only time Cheney helped make policy is if it might affect the oil industry bottom line who had record profits as recently as the last quarter. while the rest of America faces economic collapse.
Ya'll doing a fine job Dick. Thats why Bush can't hardly keep from grinning all the time, he's a happy boy it worked just the way they wanted.

Great in the sense that there is another enigma. Weisberg. How does he conclude that Bush is the worst President in history with the attendent epics of "mismanagement" and "misjudgement"? All of these brilliant conclusions by Jacob, Ronnie, and Bobby based on what? He admits in this article that he does know who participated, when decisions were made, or any of the pertinent fact behind the decisions -- "spade work" indeed. What Bush meant about what "history will be like" is simply wait until historians can know the facts ( a long time). I the meantime these blogs will great "entertainment".

I cannot be surprised that the mainstream press would be perplexed at the obvious. Bush went into Iraq to steal the oil, and PNAC wanted to build a middle east empire prior to his election. They also pined for a pearl harbor type event, and I believe it was set up by Cheney. I believe they attacked the citizens of the United States, that 3000 are dead because of their folly. I believe there were observable explosive squibbs filmed and photographed and that the presdent's youngest brother, Marvin Bush, was in charge of all of the security at WTC. I believe they should all be prosecuted or hauled into civil court. I believe that Jeb, a member of PNAC and Palin are capable of additional false flag operations and that citizens are in jeopardy. I also believe that they want to provoke Russia in their desire to build a empire. This is not just a liberal position. Pat Buchanan fears them. And Jesse Ventura believes that they allowed, and facilitated 9/11. Shame on the Bush family forever.

It's more simple than you think. All you have to do is look at the people around him and the people that helped guide his policies, and that is The American Enterprise Institute. The agenda of the Institute is layed out and that is the broadening of Israel through the annexation of parts of the middle East. It's the Podhoretz, Wolfowitz, Frum, Goldberg,,AIPAC thug's . In other words the Neo-Con plan of occupying Middle East lands. Search-- The American Enterprise Institute and see who the big honchos are !!!

President Bush is unlikely to reveal the truth behind his decision to go to wary on Iraq. We should remember that he is a oil man from the beginning. Given the bountiful oil reserves in Iraq and the presence of a mad dictator like Saddam Hussein, Bush did not need another reason to move into Iraq. The WMD factor was an excuse only. What can a couple of Iraqi missiles do to US in the first place when they could not even strike Israel with liberty.

I would not hesitate to surmise that Bush was interested in the oil reserves of Iraq that would supply Americal with all that it needs for a long while. With a little encouragement from Bush senior, it is likely that he went in with a vengeance to kill 2 proverbial birds with one stone. Unfortunately, the stone damned America's stature and economy over the last 7 years. The magnitude of these challenges was beyond Bush's managerial skills and he got lost and confused alll the way. America's downfall is the doing of Bush and his deputy and of course his advisors.

......................Bush is going around trying to enhance his "Legacy". We have been around for the eight years of his disasterous presidency and have seen this evil man damage our Country in so many ways. Bush carries bad vibes and is influenced by evil ways.................it is good that Bush will finally be gone soon!!!!!!!

Wow HarleyisHere you have truly studied your facts. Lucky for the world only a small percentage about the exact percentage that think Bush Co. has done a good job think the way chalfant thinks. Which is precisely why I can't help wonder how did Bush Co. get into office in the first place if the rest of us do not support his policies. I have heard and the sources are excellent that both the 2000 and 2004 were fraudulent.

OBAMA is the PRESIDENT come TUESDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eight years of turmoil out the door.

      Yessir!

That turmoil is now reduced to the ankle biters who obviously need to continue the refrain here. That is more tolerable than having the same kind of thinking prevailing in the leadership.

January 20, 2009 is going to be a joyful day indeed!

The Dark Lord-lies alone and friendless abandoned by his followers. Yes, this describes GW Bush and Co. In fact, many of his people started to disappear before the 2008 election grew closer and closer. They could see the writing on the wall. Hummmmmm it looks like GW Bush and Co. will not be sticking around. Hummmmmm McCain might make it into office but that wasn't the original plan. Someone tell me what was the original plan? Why did several people bolt and what were they promised. I want to know. I want to know why a political system of checks and balances failed and failed so thoroughly that torture and murder were committed in my name 1000's of times over and over and over. I thought we paid our taxes and elected our officials to prevent this from ever happening in modern times at least here in America. I cannot rest until the truth comes out. Please President-elect Obama get to the bottom of the GW Bush and Co. agenda.

  • Posted By: stc/cts @ 01/17/2009 1:50:16 PM

OMG you are so right. If I could start writhing and talking about what he has done to the US and the world in all honesty I would never never come to the end of it. He has only thought of his own agenda which lies somewhere in his own mind. And what beyond theft and murder is his agenda? Please someone tell me why did he do all of this? What is he trying to hide, really? None of it makes any sense to my mind. When you add everything up it is senseless utterly senseless.
