I think King George is the poorest excuse for a leader I have ever seen. I thought his father was a joke. He takes the prize. I hope he wallows in the crap till he dies. He failed us dealing with many issues. Jobs, The economy, The war I dont feel safer just poorer. He failed us in dealing with illegals pooring in over our boarders etc etc etc. Has pissed off more poeple then I have time to count. I raise my glass "God save the King" Thank god the bastards gone.

Amazing how few seemingly can't focus on Bush's fatal flaw, namely that he couldn't easily fire his appointees who had gone off the track (i.e., when that gone off the track reality was ultimately called to his attention by others, which in itself was not an inconsiderable feat) . . . think of his triumvirate of wistful wizards: Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz & Feith

History and will confirm the true debacle this presidency was. The radical Muslim could not have dreamt up a better president to serve their cause. Bush caused the radicals to become organized and focused more than any of their leaders could have. Our allies hate us and mistrust us and are embarrassed by us now. I only pray they can see that "we" are not "him". By a bizarre twist of fate, the "village iditot" was elected, and generations of americans yet unborn will pay the price as yet unfathomed by any of us. When the truth fully comes out as one after another of his staff turn on him in disgust, we will be shocked at the extent of his incompetency and the damage he has done to all Americans who gave him their trust. He WILL go down as the WORST president EVER!!!

This article unfairly crutinizes President Bush and his administration. To judge him poorly on the invasion of Iraq means that if you voted against president Bush and for democrats in any election, you would then have to judge your vote the alternative poorly as well, as John Kerry, Hiliary Rodham all were for the same invasion when the time in place took fold. Its also funny how how they float the WMD phrase out there still, after all this time. Saddam refused to let U.N inspectors into his factoires, facilities etc.... was also givent he chance to stand down, and the entire time he pretended to have WMD, Did anybody ever really want to find out if he really did? Enough said. Please remember that Bush's 2nd term was primarily the effect and awe that terrorism was felt by all of us. Bush was voted into office primarily to keep up his efforts on the war of terror and Iraq, just pulling out of Iraq on a whim, would of meant that millions of voters that supported Bush in his 2nd campaign would of meant that our votes didn't mean anything and by staying in Iraq the Bush administration honored why he won a 2nd term. Those votes counted for something and they still do.

Its all makes sense, event he Global economy, its not just America, its all over the world. Mass recession seen all over the world. Go ahead and move to another country and see what they pay for Gas! Good Luck!

HE should be ranked after Hitler. If Hitler is 99 he should be 199th

The true irony about the left in this country who belittle Bush ever chance they can is they don't know that the rest of the world will also be glad Bush is gone, but not fot the same reason. They want to get back to business as usual in this country with no checks and balances. The terrorist can't wait until they can come out of there caves and the simpathizers can't wait to start paying them off like the mafia to protect there chicken littles for this thugs. Hamas can't wait, Cuba can't wait and certainly Franch and Germany can't wait.

Yeah, they too can't wait for Bush to leave, but unlike the liberals who are just filled with hate, they know they can stop fearing that America will not be bullied anymore and will punch back...That is until Bush leave office.

Possibly in the final analysis the legacy of George W. Bush will be that by his very incompetence, by accident, he created a political, social, and economic climate in which our country, out of necessity, could finally begin to look beyond our heritage of racial division and turmoil and elect an African-American President.

Those of you that want to JUDGE other people, remember to use the same measuring stick against others in the future and those in the past. Remember the late 70's and early 80's.

George Bush "played" foolish to trick the wise. The media has manipulated society into thinking that "he was an idiot." However, this so-called "idiot" was able to strategize -and with the coerce the nation into giving up more civil liberties, and enduring more extortion and corruptive acts, which hasn't been seen since North America was colonized.

Torture, lies, extortion, rape, plunder, more lies..., yet in the end "we" worry about his legacy. Do you think that he's worried about what the nation thinks? Weren't YOU the one losing your home; doesn't he have somewhere to live? Weren't YOU the one losing your job; doesn't he have a job? Didn't YOU have to choose between food and medicine; do you think he has that dilemma? Isn't it YOUR child dying in Iraq; won't he see his grand children? Isn't YOUR freedom and security at risk; doesn't he have lifetime secret-service protection?

What are the terms again: [you've been] "hoodwinked;" "bamboozled," "run-a-muck," "led astray." Look at the facts and you'll see who really was "stupid" and "incompetent."

This is the only reasobable comment I have found. I cannot believe that americans think Bush did anything right, and as you said he played the idiot and the fool very well. However, he played us all. This looser is in the history as the Biggest Lier, Conniving , self centered man we will ever see. We are the biggets loosers, americans have lost so much in this process, will we ever recover?

Bush should face prison. We have never had a president that hunted down a persons family members and killed them on by one. He not only wanted to kill Saddam, he wanted to extermnate every member of his family. In modern times it should be the principles that suffer, not their mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, nices, nephews, uncles and aunts. We have lost more than 4,000 of our kids to his war and 60,000 to 80,000 that will need medical and mental attention for the rest of their lives. We have a history of fogetting our vets. Iraqi's have lost more than 500,000 men, woman and childern. How can this man sleep at night? How can he be so nonchalant about the deaths of so many people? Starting then screwing the war up is no just a little mistake that he can apologize for because we Americans wil be paying for his mistakes for generations. My father was a vietnam vet and my brothers and sisters suffer while he suffered his mental demons. We owe the world 60 trillion dollars. I am so tired of them painting a pretty picture of a few trillion or 10 trillion and seldom acknologing 60+ trillion. Bush was America's Katrina. He is walking away from one of our greatest desasters and may wellbe our Cesar who sank Rome. I truly believe he will be viewed in all history as the worst president this country could ever have had and his only legacy will be our children and their children trying not to repeat the same mistake ever again.
I was absolutly sickened to hear that the Bush clan would like Jeb to be president. avent they visited enough misery on Americaand and the world. Now we may face a round 3 of desaster of monumental proportions. Do these clowns have any love of our country? Do they have any feelings for anyone else? Do they have any morals at all? How can these people sleep at night knowing all the hundreds of thousands of deaths, suffering and misery just 2 of them have done?

Bush/Cheney should absolutley face prison time, and thier supporters should leave this country....

      • Posted By: Shanshayla @ 01/12/2009 7:58:14 PM

If you can find an actual crime he committed and can prove it, then by all means, call Nancy Pelosi and see if she won't have both Bush and Cheney tried and put away in prison.

        • Posted By: whatisreal? @ 01/15/2009 1:54:02 PM

I see you don't value integrity, justice, or the values of this country. You value smugneess and supporting criminal behavior as long as it is your criminal behaving...

How many times does the supreme court have to slap Bush down you moron. These guys survive on cover up and there are plenty of crimes. I know, Bush and Rove knew nothing about the the raping of the justice department.

I don't even want to waste my time with Bush apologists. They did not get it in the first place, so they won't get it now. There idea of patriotism is backing a corrupt government that undermines the values of our great country.

Guess what, the GOP sank with that ship and your boy is a clown.

No doubt in my mind George W. Bush will go down in history as America's WORST President ever. James Buchannan can be heard cheering from his grave this very moment.

  • Posted By: photosbypat @ 01/15/2009 1:47:27 PM

BUSH IS WITHOUT A DOUBT IS THE WORST PRESIDENT EVER. THE AUTHOR FORGOT TO MENTION KATRINA ! (I CRIED FOR 3 WEEKS OVER THAT HORROR STORY). IT WAS NOT ONLY BUSH, BUT HIS STAFF AS WELL WHO WERE BEYOND GREEDY, EVIL, MANIPULATIVE, SYNICAL AND POWER TRIPPING EGO MANIACS WHO MADE HORRIBLE DECISIONS. THIS COUNTRY IS IN THE TOILET RIGHT NOW BECAUSE OF 8 YRS OF HIS IGNORANCE AND REFUSAL TO ADMIT WRONG, BAD DECISION MAKING AND STUPIDITY. CANT WAIT TO SEE HIM GO! PAT

    • Posted By: wilder @ 01/15/2009 1:53:13 PM

What responsibility does President Bush have for Katrina? Are you one of these nuts that think Bush has a weather machine, and can create hurricanes, or is he responsible for the supposed slow response of help? That's the problem with this country now, we have a majority of people now, that think the U.S. government is responsible for making sure you actually breath now! Give me a break, take some personal responsibility. Why in the hell should you depend on the government to help you after a storm, how is that a right now?!

  • Posted By: HisName @ 01/15/2009 1:53:12 PM

That is odd there "ridgelon" for you to blame the dems like you are. Hmmm let's look at the facts. Clinton ended we had a surplus, jobs, no war, less illegals. Pres. Bush end and we have the largest deficit in history, war, no jobs, illegals out our ass and the foremost now a Blk Pres to take his place. Things just could not get any better huh?

Those who have a different agenda always tout how Bush has failed in His time of Office. Never is there a mention of how successful the Iraqi invasion has become and a new democracy added to the list of other countries the USA has helped in this process. He was the greatest force in realizing a home front much safer from terrorism. He stood strong from His conservative beliefs as we watched abortion drop 30%. We forget that after 9/11 he turned around the economy that he inherited from President Clinton. He stood strong on what he believe. That is to say nothing of the man.
He may have not been a "dazzler" but he has shown more love of country, people and even those who opposed him, then many of his critics. This is His greatest legacy.

The only contemporaries who view President George W. Bush in a negative view are the members of the "news" media. (I use the term "news" lightly here, as it is mostly opinion and spin and little news these days.) George Bush held off another major Terrorist attack on US soil for nearly eight years, that is his legacy. He led us through some of our darkest days. He led us into a righteous war of liberation for the Iraqi people. (Why does the "news"media forget the mass graves of Hussein's rule?) He has been at the tip of the spear, chasing down global terrorists, where the cowards frou EU and elsewhere dare not be brave. He's not perfect, but I am still proud to have voted for him both times, and given the alternatives, I strongly believe I made the right choice on both occasions. The financial crisis was not, and is not his fault. WAKE UP PEOPLE, Barack Obama, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, those are the culprits in the Housing Debacle... along with their socialist anti-American friends at ACORN. Follow the money. George Bush, will be remembered by the free and the brave as one of the best presidents of all time, regardless of the "progressives'" attempts to demonize him.

We all drop the ball sometimes. It is never good to be the quarterback and not score. There is more to life than having a title, there is life itself. The highlight of the Bush years was putting an end to late term abortion and running his campaign on it the first time. We all blow it when we miss what is important as we will then be taken advantage of.

  • Posted By: speele @ 01/15/2009 1:52:17 PM

Your objectivity is truly remarkable. There are people out there that actually believe the media bias is killing the credibility of most "news" outlets like NEWSweek...

  • Posted By: Kforce @ 01/15/2009 1:52:14 PM

Show me one thing that he did "RIGHT" or "ACCOMPLISHED"? We are no more safe than we were 7 years ago. I served 20 years in the military and I can say the most he accomplished was make me go to more funerals and memoral services.
