USA must STOP his Unconditonal Love towards Isreal immedately for the Sake of its Own Natonal Security,We all Know that Isrealis are indirectly happy to turn many Islamic fanatics to become "Terrorists"with their cleverly creations now emerging terorists existence looks like a real security treat to Isrealis and the world.
A country with Nuclear Power capabilities cannot be compares with neigboring countries that doesn't have proper arms, let alone Nuclear Power, with that reasons makes them continously Slaughters his neigbors. Now we all understood why the German's Nazi saw and single hand out them from other many various ethnic group as very dangerous minds capable with gven opportunity to be brillant manipulators .Real facts.

A Zionist,a only single country with Nuclear Power capability in Middle-East with USA blessing and total support by USA continously with financial ,Arsenal Supports.
Lucky now President Obama start to realise this Huge mistakes made by past US Presidents President Obama intiatate Isreal to sign the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty directly to Visiting Isrealis Prime Minister now to try correct US past.

Afganistan,Iran,Iraq, many US former Allies, now becoming US enemies,Most recently Pakistan,Iran under real pressure by Islamic Extremist ,What worrying Facts now Countries like Turkey,Eygpt,Jordan,Saudi Arabia, a very Close US partner start to crack up if USA doesn't make a Change 180 turn around or we might likely to Loose them as Amercan close Allies.

Today's Turkey is a part of the Islamic world, supporter of Russian Eurasian policy, a kind neighbor and partner of its historical opponents, Iran and Syria. The quadrilateral alliance is here but its members are different. This is an alliance of Eurasian states: Russia - Turkey - Iran - Syria.
Since the end of the last decade, Russia has made desperate efforts to return to Middle Eastern politics as a superpower. Thus it has, for example, strengthened relations with Iran and Syria.
This policy reached its apogee when, in defiance of Washington's fierce protests, Moscow cooperated with Tehran in the nuclear sphere, and in a pointedly royal manner embraced Bashar Asad during his visit to Russia in January 2005, writing off Syria's debt and signing the agreement on missile deliveries to Damascus (see below).
Turkey, in its turn, is panicking after Saddam Hussein's overthrow, fearing creation of a Kurdish state in Iraq. Aspiring to prevent such a succession of events, Ankara has been drawn to Iran and Syria. Sworn enemies turned if not friends, then allies, in almost no time.
Iran has committed to adding the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) to its " terrorist organizations" list. Turkey has done the same concerning the Iranian group "Mojahedin Halk". The parties have announced an upcoming doubling of the volume of their trade..
American attempts to prevent this visit and the subsequent rapprochement between recent enemies was a failure.

maybe obama should read some of these anecdotes before declaring america is not on war with islam as all his rhetoric becomes junk when juxtaposed with the acts of friends of BARACK who funded his campaign and it just shows why no sane person on the planet has no credibility regarding american claims .
impunity has to be a global issue starting with america and israel itself rather then applied to darfur and rwanda only or fujimoro -when international criminals go free in USA AND ISRAEL because they got elected by another group of fascists -so what even hitler was elected -as were the bush and israeli regimes

i am so pleased and surprised that the israelis found the israelis innocent -i expected they might have given them over to ICC -WHILE omar is in qatar and THE ICC PROSECUTOR IS NOT SO USEFULLY EMPLOYED -LOLZ/

but i am glad the israelis did what the torah tells them to do in the abridged version

There is no point in arguing with Israel. The Jews had argued even with God before and had faced His wrath but are still stubborn. With Israel military might and the backing from the west and US, they are thus very arrogant. Anyway the damage is done, the Palestinians are dead. The only action that Hamas should take is to do what Hamas has to do.

and israelis let jewish exyremists to walk into mosques in west bank during fajr prayers and spray the congregation with rapid fire weaponery -then call them unstable or insane -what a convenient premise -as the same palestinian blowing an israeli military outpost is a terrorist -lolz

You're right. Israelis don't blow themselves up in Palestinian streets. They just do things like allow the Phalangist militia group, with hostile intent, to enter Palestinian refugee camps of Sabra and Chatila, resulting in the massacre of unarmed Palestinian men, women, and children. Things like depriving Palestinians of food, fuel, and medical supplies and sealing them in one of the most crowded places on the face of the earth. And as for the myth of "modern, westernized" Israel, a beacon of the "enlightened world" amongst the "extremist" and "belligerent" nations of the Middle East, anyone believing that garbage should count just how many parts of the Geneva Conventions concerning the administration of occupied territories of which the State of Israel is in violation.

Hell, I'll even save you the trouble. The answer is every single god-damned one of them.

This is what I dont comprehend.
Israel was created by the british mandate and approved since history in bible and books describe there was an Israel until arab occupied it. Ok so Israel was legally created in accordance to the world. Lets continue with facts.
Israel has been the one trying to find peace in the form of peace treaties, resolutions ... they want peace even though their land is theirs-LEGALLY! Ok. There are two things I dont understand in the opinion of the wordl.
    1. palestinians are nothing more than part jordanians and part egyptians (look it up in history) - why isnt Egypt the one to open border and why aren't egyptians and jordanians creating a state for palestinians-their own people!!! I know they dont want them, but, it is their people for godsake!
    2. why is the world so opinionated on Israel actions if in FACT the palestinians together with iranians, syrians, lebanese....are the ones committing the attrocities in the region and AROUND THE WORLD...all of us included.
I dont hear israelis blowing themselves up against palestinians or even iranians (that they deserve it is another topic). I dont see israelis (except when declare war) shooting rockets constantly at palestinians. I dont read about israelis gathering in their temples and training their young to kill infidels of ANY OTHER religion. I dont even hear of any young israeli child volunteer to kill himself in front of palestinians in cafes, mosques, schools, buses, etc.
SO, why condemn a country who had to learn to be rough and tough in order to survive tragedy.
Why condemn a country who instill high family values and core principles and raise responsible, commpassionate individuals (for the most part do not start generalizing-we all have black sheeps).
Why condemn a country where you go and find mosques, churches, temples -all inclusive. That the country is mostly jewish- so what! The majority of United States is catholic and inclusive!
Could there be that generations have been taught to dislike this religious group?
We have surpassed slavery narrow minds, chosen a black president (and proud of it) who has muslim background, we have accepted women in the workforce and politics....
It is time to surpass the religion narrow minds and accept individuals for whom they are and the good they offer in our lives, our communities, our countries.
Iran yeterday for the first time had the balls to publicly announce their intentions with the nuclear program- Khomeini said they are ready to attack!!! We had done nothing to stop them from creating the next big war.
We have let these people take over while we were busy crucifying the wrong person.
Read the news...and join the right group of people working together against the enemy....

It is the problem of where they live now. They do not want a country somewhere in Egypt. They do not want a country somewhere in Jordan. They want a country where they live now: in Gaza and the West Bank. That part of their argument, at least, makes perfect sense. Then there is a second part to it: many of them also want a country where their grandfathers lived and grew up.

Now put into the mix the lack of a state with longstanding traditions, and they are forced to turn to what does have longstanding traditions: Islam (historically, it is a very political religion). Add in the fact that these people have been stunted by the Israeli's defending themselves for so long and it is understandable that they turn to extremists.

The situation is one of tragedy. I agree with the Israelis defending themselves, but I understand why the Palestinians do what they do.

----Welcome to AS I SEE IT----by Maine's own Mike "MainerMike" Brown.

Mark my words, there will never be lasting peace between the Jews and the Palestinians. They've been blowing each other away for thousands of years, and George Mitchell being over there isn't going to make a difference, other than maybe creating another temporary truce. Sure, Mitchell had success in the late 90's in Northern Ireland, and granted, I'm surprised peace over there has lasted as long as it has. However, I believe that won't last forever, as the two sides will find some excuse to fight it out again. The Middle East will be no different. While many Jews and Palestinians are reasonable people, those who want to fight are not interested in peace. And that's a recipe for further bloodshed. Only God can stop the violence. And I wish He would.----That's AS I SEE IT. I'm Mike "Mainer Mike" Brown.

What exactly is the area of the nation of Israel? I am sure that there were many non Jews, who lived in Israel, in the hoary old days. What exactly was the land, which was promised to Israel? If Jews were to live peacefully in Israel, as promised by God, then the area is perhaps, bigger than what Israel is now. Perhaps, the Middle East should be made safer for Christian, Muslim and Jew to live peacefully.

I watched some of that. What point were you particularly trying to get across?

Do you think I should be surprised that a lot of radical Islam is insane and violent? I expect it from them, and am learning Arabic in an effort to learn more about the MODERATE Arab world whose existence the Israeli right tries so hard to deny...

You, on the other hand, ought to ____ing know better. Good day to you.

  • Posted By: phia123@aol.com @ 02/15/2009 4:38:56 PM

There's no need for Hamas to seek a truce especially knowing that the Jews don't really want one. The Semites outnumber the Europeans. They can't possibly continue on this path. Since the Arabs don't have anything, they have very little else to lose.

    • Posted By: Vigilance @ 02/16/2009 8:42:42 AM

I agree; I think Israel has about as much desire for a permanent truce with its enemies as the U.S. did when it started a war to spread slavery into Mexico (the Mexican-American war) - i.e., none at all.

They want to establish contiguous boundaries, and from there spread a Zionist philosophy throughout the Middle East. It is SICKENING to see, particularly since my great-grandparents were Russian Jews who emigrated to America during the Russian Revolution. I am saddened and disgusted to the point of physical nausea by the arrogance, selfishness, and spiritual bankruptcy of my Jewish cousins in Israel.

The extremists within the Israeli settlers are utterly mad, dangerous, and selfish beyond measure. They MUST be reined in.

Support U.N. intervention in Gaza, and break the back of the occupation. The crimes against Israel do NOT give it free rein to commit its own.

    Democracy at Work.

    • Posted By: newtral @ 02/16/2009 8:22:24 AM

Yes Aldous, democracy at work. More land grabbing at work in the west bank. Israel is defending itself? What a fiction. Big insult to the human race intelligence.

  • Posted By: BenFolds @ 02/02/2009 1:00:46 AM

How can anyone blame Irael for defending itself from strikes on it's soil? Let's not forget that Palestine democratically elected Hamas leadership. Sadly, there is a price to pay for supporting terrorism.

Israel cannot negotiate with people who are bent on their destruction. The United States is in much the same position. Too bad there are many libs out there that think we can 'talk' to terrorists and the problems will go away.

    • Posted By: Vigilance @ 02/15/2009 12:34:23 PM

By the same token, too bad there are so many conservatives out there that really think dropping bombs would make the problems go away.

  • Posted By: Horrible Bastard @ 02/13/2009 8:39:16 AM

    Hamas is launching rockets again?

Screw 'em. Burn Gaza down, and salt the Earth.

      Nope, sorry. Try again.

How can anyone blame Israel for defending itself from people bent on their destruction? Let's not forget the Palestinians demcratically elected Hamas leadership.

  • Posted By: bajan man @ 02/02/2009 12:29:23 AM

The Zionists have no sense of shame; they are savages. There was no justification for using those horrible incendiary weapons on anyone. Nor was there any reasonable justification for the incessant bombing that continued bringing death and destruction long after there was any military purpose. The Jews have killed over 1190 civilians, of these, 472 were children. The results of their monstrous behaviour will be remembered for decades. The Zionists like to boast that they have an ???Democratically??? elected government; well so do the people of Gaza - that government is Hamas.

The evil the Zionists are sowing will bear a fruit that will blossom into an intense loathing that will grow and perpetuate itself throughout time. If the Zionists wanted to insure perpetual hatred from the civilised world, they have just guaranteed it. Space does not permit me to recount all of the atrocities committed by these people. Suffice it to say to call them monsters would be a compliment.

650 civilians dead simply for the purposes of retribution.

Israel, one of the nations of my forebears, has devolved into cowardice. I will try to find a candle to light for modern Jewish dignity.
