These human rights groups are shameful, displaying the most idiotic form of liberalism. When you are causing disproportionate damage to an enemy, you do not let up so that they can kill a few of your people and make things fair. Such proportionality completely goes against military tactics. And should Israeli soldiers fight Palestinians in the pitch dark? That would certainly increase Israeli casualties and restore some "proportionality", but it would also likely lead to more civilian deaths.

This war seems to have accomplished its ends nicely: it has actually managed to greatly harm Hamas both in terms of hard and soft power. Hamas should not be given a victory at War Crimes tribunals that give voice to bogus charges.

The middle east is a very tiresome burden on the rest of the world. It would be fantastic if we could all act as civilized human beings and sit down and talk about the differences and negotiate something that is fair and equitable, however there are so many fundamentalist cockroaches whose soul purpose in life is to kill that it is nearly impossible for this to ever happen. Let us be clear comparing our right to bear arms amendment here in America does not include rocket launchers for God's sake. Firing rockets into civilian homes for months is not an acceptable solution. It is like throwing rocks at a dog and then crying when you get bit!
