Senator Hillary Clinton will absolutely make a GREAT Secretary of State. I am shocked rrow would put Hillary Clintons name on the same PAGE as Sarah Palin's! There is NO comparison between the two. One is a great Senator the other one shouldn/t be on the same page!! What has she done but show her lack of skills in any capacity!

I think that there might be flaws to pick either Sarah Palin or Hillary Clinton to be in the President's Cabinet.

You can't seem to resist any opportunity to bash women this year, be it Hillary Clinton or Sarah Palin. Your reputation has been destroyed, by your blatant misogyny and embarrassing blind adoration of Obama.

Funny, isn't it? Obama slides into the Presidency with absolutely no qualifiications or experience, and Hillary, the brilliant and experienced leader, is the one who is vetted and has to go through the confirmation process. What a system. Godspeed, Hillary. You make me proud!

I Feel Hillary was the wrong choice for Head of State. And the news "Media" has made her out to be someone she's not. This country would not be in this state of affairs if not for the policies and actions of her husband's administration. We as a country have had enough of the Cintons. Her selection was not a good choice by President Elect Obama. So give President Bush his due and get off his back okay

Speak for yourself, you self-righteous, uneducated, jealous sad little person. Your "we as a country" does not represent the millions of voters who voted for her in the primary.

Speaking for those voters, and all others who saw a great woman blazing a trail in the primary, we think people like you are a joke.

God help us if Hillary represents change we can believe in. On Iran, she asserte they were developing nuclear weapons when the NIE 2007 report and the IAEA -- the two best sources - say it isn't so. By insisting the military option is not off the table, Iran will surely feel it needs a nuclear break-out capacity -- any nation threatened by nuclear powers US and Israel would do the same.
Then there's Hamas -- the elected government of the Palestinians. Hillary won't talk with them because, inter alia, they don't recognize Israel. Well what about most members of the Arab league, including Saudi Arabia. And if there were really a good truce, Hamas says it would abide by it. Imagine if Israel relaxed its seige of Gaza and began pulling its setllements and citizens out of the West Bank, Golan, and East Jerusalem -- would Hamas have any basis for violence then? Let's hope Obama has more smarts than his Sec of State.

More sarcasm regarding Hillary Clinton? More nasty headlines, to wit, "Hillary Will Be Sooooooo Jealous" re: Fox's Madame President on "24"? Hasn't she suffered and humbled herself enough? You're still at it? I'm canceling the New Yorker, probably Rolling Stone (Matt Taibbi is intolerable), and I'm considering canceling you, as well, for persistent, gratuitous, sexist remarks. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

More like too much irrelevence.... Nobody, especially us C-Span addicts like me, would not even bother following this confirmation hearing- she is a shoo-in not because Americans generally believes that she would make a competent SEC of State because of her "qualifications" in that constituences are hoarding over the phones lines calling their congressnembers to confirm her. I think that Americans are very evenly split over her (generally) on whether she would make a good SEC.

There has to be another reason why Obama picked her and her quals is not it.... .
But then again, where does one defines qualis anyway? Do qualifications even matter at all? Do you, I or anybody except those inside the inner circle of big money politics, voice concerning what qual for the SEC matters?
It is politcs to the maximum routine.

They're gonna confirm her, she is one of their colleagues, just get it over with and let her get to work. Wether or not she is the best choice is left to be determined. As it stands, she was appointed by the dully elected, soon to be President Obama. If he was good enough to elect, then we should at least give his decisions a chance to pan out before crucifying them.

I feel Hillary was a bad choice for Head of State. This country has had enough of poor political leaders in office for the past (16) years. The "Media" should stop making her out to someone she's not. "And neither was her Husband" I not for him this country would not be in a lot or this mess today!!
So give President Bush a break and get off his back thank you.

Just "hope" he doesn't blow it too badly!!
