True or False Re: Pelosi
She owns hotels that are non-union and fights attempts to unionize?
I can't wait to see the article on Sarah Palin. . . oh what. . .the internet rumors are correct? Sorry, I forgot that Newsweek has bocome the media outlet for the Democrats, my mistake
Why not do a similar article debunking the slim job on Sarah Palin. Fairness doctrine and all that!
Factcheck.com lies. Newsweek thinks by trying to debunk the Pelosi slamming by reporting the Fastcheck.org info makes it true.
It is not. The report of the jet was reported by, "OMG" the greatest news network "CNN" HAAAAAAAA!! And it used to be when you looked at her when she was talking on TV you could see her eye's wandering. Now I notice when she is on TV the only do side shots. There is something mental about pelosi.
You are atypical liberal cool aid drinker!!
Newsweek what are you gaining from this. Pelosi is done we just need to get her out to greener pastures. LOWEST approval rating ever. The best that they could do is blocking Bush's administration and discuss the steroid issue in baseball. Pathetic, just like your (head up the butt of the dems) reporting you so often do. Looking forward to the fall of your news outlet. Bias...Bias...Bias...Good riddance.
When is Newsweek going to do an article about rumormongers spreading misinformation about Gov. Palin??????
Pelosi's appointment of Reyes as the head of the House Intelligence Committee (over Jane Harmon) speaks volumes about her judgment and ability to lead in the House. That, coupled with the fact that the Congress has a lower approval rating than the out-going administration, is a severe indictment on her leadership and standing within her own party. There is nothing new under the sun at Newsweek.
I consider myself quite liberal, however the comment previous to mine is a pretty good point. Media should have NO bias...
I find it interesting that Newsweek dedicates an article about the spreading of misinformation, but fail to print retractions on the misinformation they have been spread about the Republicans. Hmm! I wonder why?
Delmonte doesn't own StarKist Seafood any longer
Delmonte doesn't own StarKist Seafood any longer.
Most Democrats don't like her either because she's a wimp.
You don't have enough web space on the internet to debunk all the "misinformation" spread about President Bush & the republicans in the last 8 years....welcome to the jungle!
I have a lot of sympathy for the folks at FactCheck. They have to have bad news or nobody will believe they are doing their job. Same problem as the news media generally, bad news sells. It would be nice if we could have an organization like FactCheck that would just check the facts and report the truth, instead of trashing everybody just for fun.
Well, OK, I can't say for sure that they trash everybody, maybe it's just that they trash the Republicans and conservatives for fun, that's what I have seen; I just assumed they would try to be fair, and find reasons to trash a liberal once in a while to avoid the appearance of bias. Maybe they do, and I just haven't looked hard enough.
" truth about some of the bunk "
If what you wrote is anything like what the Republicans actually posted about Pelosi, they don't seem to have worked very hard at it.
I just heard Ms. Speaker on LPR, Liberal Public Radio within the last couple of days saying that although Obama may be having second thoughts about raising taxes, she is not. She knows that the Bush tax cuts did not help the economy, and they should be allowed to expire in 2010. That is just about the kind of timing that Hoover used when he raised taxes just as they were recovering from a recession, and they had a Great Depression but they didn't have a great time. All the Republicans need to do is talk about what the Democrats are openly planning to do, and that will be bad enough that we shouldn't need to invent anything false. 2009 is a lot like 2001, a new president coming into the office and finding a recession there, created by a bubble in the economy, sitting on the desk like a cow-pie, waiting for him. We got out of the 2001 recession because Bush did not raise taxes like Hoover, he cut taxes instead. By 2003, the economy was so hot that between 2003 and 2007 the growth in our economy was bigger than the whole Chinese economy, even though they have also been doing very well; they started from a smaller base. We should be cutting the capital gains tax now, to help get out of the new recession, but the Democrats have fooled enough of the people, enough of the time, so that it is not politically correct to advocate tax cuts. With the Bush tax cuts, millions of people at the bottom of the income spectrum have had their taxes cut to zero, and the next group up have had their tax rate reduced by 1/3 (from 15% to 10%); the rich pay a bigger share of the taxes now than under Clinton, but it is never enough for the liberals who want more money because they know how to spend it better than we do. Now they have their new president and big majorities in Congress; let's see what they do with that - if anyone reports it.
"Here's the truth about some of the bunk being thrown at her by anonymous Internet rumormongers:"
Dear true believers and assorted victims, and patriots of truth and justice,
Yes, the radlib MSM is just a tool to further injure the faithful and the Party.
Of course the organized anonymous rumor department of the propaganda machine therefore is justified, indeed necessitated, by the ongoing mistreatment of us by that abusive and deceiving media. We can never be expected to cease disseminating the party message of truth and integrity of we righteous few while the media remains so corrupt.
What other means could we ever employ to ensure enlightenment of those unquestioning media dupes, or to rebuild the Party with more good, honest, right-thinking people?
The lesson of the last election is that convincing 23% of Texas voters that Obama is Muslim and was born in Kenya, and manufactering fabricated purported passages from Obama's books were not enough. We must keep up the good fight and do more.
Those of you who do not have the imagination to concoct such stories have only three honorable, patriotic choices:
1. Come to these sites frequently and point to the outrageous bias of the MSM in responding with debunks like these, as proof of our theme. Disproving the debunks should be avoided.
2. Accuse as dupes all who believe such debunks, but worse is better. Name calling is preferred. Limp-wristed, unemployed, lefty and ignorant are particulary effective.
3. Develop a larger email list and send emails more often. Repetition is a proven method for getting our truth accepted.

I received two emails from the RNC and they were both trashing Nancy Pelosi. Last week's was pretty nasty, today's looked to be researched better. I have asked twice to be removed from the RNC's mailing list (I don't know how I got signed up, but figure one of my friends was playing a joke on me). These emails are aggressive hate mail. I think they are afraid.
Interesting... Isn't fuct-check owned by Soros? If not owned he is definitely a benefactor. As the Soros legacy of supporting global socialism continues. I could give a rats___. Left wing buffoons, right wing loons... I don't trust the government period. I look to a better day when we are a military dictatorship. On Palin and Pelosi; they got one major thing going for them... BOTH HAVE AN AWESOME RACK!!!
