    OBAMA IS RUNNING THE COUNTRY INTO THE GROUND SUPERCHARGED:
    As talented of a speaker B. Hussein Obama may be, and we can't judge about his true intentions either, but it is quite obvious that his ambitions are completely misdirected and his actions scream of incompetence and a total lack of qualifications for the job.

    If Obama is ready for the "fight" (class warfare, etc.) as he has said and apparently he has declared total war on America's upper class, Wall Street and the financial institutions, he's going to fall flat on his face in a New York minute. While at first his actions sounded serious and even scary because of the threat of looming communism, now his overexposure and rhetoric without substance have made Obama simply a joke. Sure, he wants to spend trillions, but in the end he won't be able to accomplish anything, ... he is powerless because Americans aren't stupid, uhmmmm other than when they voted for this guy.

    Now we can say if someone gets screwed, "did you get baracked?" We all know that Obama won't even finish his first term in office. C'mon true Americans, Obama has already declared with his talk and actions the end of his "career" as the "leader" of the free world. Obama is not America's president, ... he's a sideshow.
    Americans won't put up with this guy for much longer, ... he's is running the country into the ground faster than I can step on the pedal of a Lambo Gallardo doing 0-60 mph.

    It's over, Barack, ... it's best if you resign and perhaps you learn some humility along the way, ... it's sure better than impeachment.

    America doesn't want your communism and your twisted stupid ideas;
    America doesn't want your tax increases;
    Amercia doesn't want your lies;
    America doesn't want your killings of innocent lives by liberalizing abortions, ... such a cruelty and evil!
    Americans love their freedom which you want to take from them;
    America doesn't want your hypocrisy;
    America doesn't want you to rob the American Dream from us;

    America is life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness!
    Barack, you're just a sad joke, ... you're not America and you do not represent the American Dream and you do not provide the American Dream. You're not an inspiration, but you, Barack, stir up anger and depression, doom and gloom. You, Barack, have cost Americans already many trillions of dollars as you have caused the stock market to crash and your hostility toward Wall Street is not appreciated. You have cost America already millions of jobs which you can never restore. Take some responsibility and do the right thing and resign, ... it's time for you to resign. Don't you see all the demonstrations across the land and the great pain that you have caused? Be a man and resign!

      Any position that ignores the reality of the problems and what caused them, then finds fault with any efforts to resolve the problems can't be given any credibility or be considered to be other than an irrational and totally biased opinion.

    The Evil of Extremism: White Supremacists, Nazism, bin Ladenism, Limbaughism, ,, all characterized by self-proclaimed righteousness, open or disguised hatred of others, egotism, self-indulgence, excused gross dishonesty, rationalized and exaggerated self-protection, feelings that more is owed them, aristocratic style arrogance, proclaimed absolute authority and more, all being examples of a warped, self-centered, sociopathic philosophy that seeks to falsely justify suppressing some while elevating themselves. The individual doctrines are promoted by charismatic leaders using twisted arguments to create enthusiasm in crowds seeking to belong. The cure: a large dose of humility, an openness to all others, an adapting of honest objectivity, a patience with reality, an acceptance of own fallibility, an understanding of fitting in instead of presiding over, disciplined moderation and a faith that is real in recognizing and accepting everyone's equal value under God. Extremism will always eventually bring down the society that incorporates it but in the process it will cause drastic harm and severe injustice - it is a sickness.

    Ironic that the first black president is arguably the most socialist. Socialist programs are what have kept the poor poor. They don't encourage the production of wealth or personal responsibility or excellence. Excellence is hard. Collecting welfare isn't. Big government inevitably enslaves everyone except the elite ruling class, which Obama and his millionaire/billionaire buddies are members of.

      Socialist with rich friends. Yep.
      Ahhhh. Makes sense?

    Ironic that the first black president is arguably our most socialist president ever. The socialist programs of this country are what have kept the poor poor. Households earning 200k or more (top 2.1%) gave 74.5% of all donations to causes aimed at meeting basic needs. (www.philanthropy.iupui.edu) And Obama wants to villify and punish those people. Sure there will be short term gains for the poor, but what happens when the money runs out because there's no more incentive to earn, because you're just going to be taxed to death? They'll just have to print more money because there will not be as much real wealth being created. The Obama administration's agenda can only be understood as a massive power grab. Wake up, people. Democracy is dying, if it's not dead already.

    More wishful thinking from the secular left. More lies, more crap. America has not changed since November. Nice try Newsweek. Just wait until the mid-term elections.

    Yes, this nation is differant from the WWII era. Now we have lazy schmucks who would rather turn their caps sideways and sit in front of the tube with their x-box. than actually support the country which gives them their freedom. And we have a country that is so apathetic many have put 9/11 out of their mind. A country who has forgotten God. A country that has a whole generation that is willing to trade freedom for being taken care of. Liberals

    The present day Rebuplican party is quite simpy "the party of the rich!" They do manipulate the poor and less educated to vote for them by using social and cultural wedge issues to their advantage while enacting policies that actually hurt these very people. They "use" nationalism and so called patriotism in much the same way as Hitler did to garner support. They have become a party of hypocrisy and greed that have re-distributed the wealth in their favor and are well on their way to a class divide that is comparable to the one that existed during the French Revolution. They have Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, and Ann Coulter working tirelessly on their behalf to ensure that none of us peasants ever gets close to their neighborhoods! Their entire political agenda for the next four years is focused on one thing and one thing only: ensuring that President Obama and America fail, it is their only hope, and obviously a burning desire! One thing we can all be sure of is that ALL Wall Street bankers Republican, ever wonder why?

    America is changing with diverse people living to better understand one another under difficult circumstances. I live in The President's old building. It is a small United Nations. People are from all over the world and different ages. The future seems brighter.because of Obama's' style. This is a great nation. I love all races and people. Gays play an important role. We in to value all people of goodwill who love America. Perhaps we may learn to love each other and move forward under these poor ecconomic condisions.

    I believe the Republican Party has lost its way and has simply become the party of puppets who irresponsibly patronize and placate a few who pull the strings and then boldly they just give the majority an abundance of subterfuge to hide and rationalize the total neglect and to manipulate public opinion. There seems no doubt that anyone who is capable of being unbiased and objective would readily recognize the belligerent and totally arrogant gross dishonesty of the last eight years and which actually continues in the Party's current unified and stubborn obstructionist efforts, all without ever offering any solutions or conscience. Some may wish to ignore the self-indulgent behavior, which is rationalized as being 'conservatism' and concentrates strictly on money, as they feel it actually benefits them and to them, without even dwelling on all of the drastic and significant problems created by this behavior, I emphatically ask the following questions. Who of us really believes the current Republican Party would ever turn against their powerful and influential patrons and: Establish the regulations and enforcements needed to check the abuse on Wall Street?; Establish the oversight and control necessary to check the abusive run-away greed, dishonesty and self-indulgence in the financial sector?; Interject to check the run away costs in the medical field and thereby cut Medicare, Insurance and individual expenses?; Establish the real controls and enforcements needed with polluting industries to check Global Warming and environmental degradation?; Do anything to discourage the exportation of American jobs and taxes?; Do the necessary spending to turn around our drastically decaying infrastructure?; Raise taxes on the very wealthy and close corporate tax loop holes to equitably increase revenue?; Have any real concern for America's lagging educational performance?; Do away with the drastic unproductive government spending established by the Bush administration that favored Special Interests and a select few?; Be transparent, honest and open to sincere bipartisanship in complete contrast to the last eight years?; and more, all to turn things around, benefit the people and avoid the catastrophe we would be heading for when continuing with more of the same?. If, like me, you see with clarity that the current Republican Party is not apt to do any of that and you really seek the return of a conscience driven and responsible Republican Party, you then recognize that, as voters, we need to completely reject their current behavior and encourage needed drastic change.

    Some say to stop bashing Bush and move on but I strongly suspect that those are the Republicans who have no honest answers for the Bush-Cheney fiasco that has cost us so much and who just want to sweep it under the carpet. The problem with that is two fold: one, it really hasn't become fully apparent just how totally bad, very likely even criminal, that many things were and that should really be fully known and even prosecuted; and two, there are those who strongly supported and now excuse what occurred and even those who actually want to continue with more of the same and that needs to be fully recognized and never tolerated. Personally I can't stand BS and dishonesty and I recognize that those negative behaviors are the habits of self-indulgent people who then literally destroy the ability to ever cooperatively accomplish anything, anything other than what satisfies their sociopathic desires. The Bush-Cheney administration was arrogantly and stubbornly focused on their own private agenda to benefit Special Interests and a select few who returned overt and covert support, contributions and promises for after office (kickback) compensation, while Bush-Cheney unconscionably gave only apathy, the costs and an abundance of subterfuge to the average American. All was done with a bold and belligerent dishonesty as they thumbed their noses at everyone and just did whatever they wanted with the full support of the Republican Party. That should never be excused, never forgotten and never tolerated again. To ever again be effective for the benefit of the American people the Republican Party needs to purge itself of that mentality, of those who advocate more of the same and of the current obstructionist behavior they dishonestly rationalize. I personally want the Republican Party to return to being its former self but the only way that will ever happen is if we the voters reject what they have become!

    Last night George Will made a statement that I think I quote accurately as, 'President Obama wants to take it from the successful and give it to the unsuccessful'. When Republicans use narrow views such as that to criticize, yet they actually blindly and stubbornly supported the arrogant irresponsibility of Bush-Cheney, and then they advocate that they offer hope for the average American with having a real desire for bipartisan cooperation, as Bobby Jindal stated, yet they just follow a strong and united obstructionist policy that literally only faults, blocks and attempts to sabotage everything, they really instill no confidence and rather only generate contempt. It seems they always try to justify returning to more of the same concentration on Special Interests and a select few where they gave only apathy, the costs and an abundance of subterfuge to the many and that is totally unacceptable. Republicans now simply depend on rhetoric to deceive instead of deeds to believe.

    There seems no doubt that the news websites manipulate the postings entered on their sites. I have experienced that on CNN, FOX and MSNBC that a given posting may simply disappear or just not appear at all and on NEWSWEEK it can appear but way out of sequence, like lost in appearing back several days. Some even quickly cut off responses if they aren???t getting what they want. I originally thought that it could be an editing function seeking direct pertinence to the related article but with closer scrutiny that just doesn???t apply as many postings that make it, simply may not relate as well as those that don???t. I???m sure it doesn???t relate to the tastefulness of the posts either as I never offer crude or vulgar postings and many others that do still make it, some tasteless posters quite consistently, which simply surprises me. No, the only rational and logical explanation is that there is a concerted effort to match a bias and to encourage a desired tone of the discourse. The real trouble with that is that it says they are boldly and aggressively trying to manipulate public opinion, to just not trust people to make their own decisions. That is supposed to be our unbiased news media, objectively and honestly reporting the news and not trying to control/create the news. I will be very curious to see if this posting makes it on all the sites mentioned and then the real questions are, who is benefiting, who has the power, who is pulling the strings?

    You simply have to give Obama credit. As hard as the Republicans try to fault, block and sabotage whatever he offers he keeps handling their irresponsible obstructionist efforts and, while admitting fine tuning could likely still be needed, keeps addressing the issues, which the Republicans seem to think is unnecessary, and keeps trying to solve the problems he inherited. The Republicans, current example McCain with the helicopters, seem to think they can arrogantly and stupidly say anything and their influential supporters will just massage it to manipulate public opinion. It sure would be nice to have a Republican Party that responsibly and honestly competed in the best interests of the people instead of just being obnoxiously totally focused on playing the political games.

  • Posted By: NewsWkDickG @ 02/23/2009 4:43:09 PM

    How did we get where we are? What was the spending record of Bush-Cheney which the Republicans strongly and stubbornly supported without complaint? How much pork was included there? How much neglect and focus on Special Interests and a select few have we seen over the last eight years? If they can't give Obama credit for being honest, conscientious, transparent and extending across the isle, even if there could actually be more fine tuning needed, then their criticisms aren't worth considering as they are just political and not aimed at solving any problems. We could really use a Republican Party that is more concerned with the interests of the people instead of just arrogantly and belligerently only on their political concerns and on being obstructionists, which only makes matters worse.

  • Posted By: NewsWkDickG @ 02/23/2009 10:55:15 AM

    The Republicans are showing themselves to be poor and sore losers who are obnoxiously and aggressively trying to fault, block and even sabotage everything Obama offers. Their arrogant efforts at being irresponsible obstructionists are ridiculous as it is simply true that Obama hasn't caused any of the problems and that the Republicans have no real solutions. All of the drastic and extensive problems we now have were passed to Obama by the self-focused, grossly dishonest and arrogantly irresponsible Bush-Cheney Republican administration who literally caused so many of the problems, added to more and condoned and ignored even more. To refuse to recognize those facts and instead to want Obama to fail (as Limbaugh stated) is as if having a childlike tantrum and being without any rational reasoning - it is being part of the problem. That mentality is and has cost us significantly and for that they should be held accountable. They focus on using all of their efforts and the power and influence of their backers to play the political games without ever considering the costs and that is really inexcusable self-serving irresponsibility, which we can't afford. Not only should G. W. Bush, D. Cheney and others be prosecuted to tell all future administrations similar behavior won't be tolerated but even more important, we must really avoid being conned into going that route again.

  • Posted By: NewsWkDickG @ 02/22/2009 1:54:46 PM

    Let's get real. When trying to be objective, rational and above all honest it is really hard to have any patience with the political criticisms that we are constantly blasted with. Just today I read where Obama was being faulted for being in a 'perpetual campaign' mode because he recently traveled to several ???blue??? states to address financial issues, without the critic ever noting that those states were actually the hardest hit by the current financial crisis. That Republican criticism really had to be offered with tongue-in-cheek, especially after we have literally endured eight years of the Bush-Cheney administration's continuous bombardment with subterfuge to rationalize their stubborn pursuit of a private agenda always favoring Special Interests and a select few and then irresponsibly neglecting the many. As an Independent (ex-long-term-registered Republican, never-a-Democrat) I have to give Obama credit for demonstrating more honesty, transparency and responsible concern for the average American than we have seen for a very long time, and I have to express real amazement at the Republicans' cocksure demeanor that allows them to continually be stubborn and arrogant as they aggressively attack without ever offering any responsible solutions or even ever demonstrating a conscience. The confidence the Republicans seem to maintain, even when all logic says there is no real basis for it, can only be explained by their faith in who supports them. There is further evidence when recognizing who they cater to, who pulls their strings, who has continually benefited from their actions and who then overtly and covertly supports them, generously contributes to their campaigns and who even promises after-office (kickback) compensation, with the Bush-Cheney's years being the current vivid example. They seem to even exhibit a reckless surety, arrogantly focusing on the political gamesmanship instead of the issues, that their wealthy, powerful and influential support can actually influence the media and effectively manipulate public opinion. It would be nice to have a responsible and conscientious Republican Party to compete for the real benefit of the people but I just don???t see any sign of that happening.
