I guess the best advice I can give you is to listen and pay attention. Not only to the general consensus of the public, but to that voice within. That voice you heard as a child on the beach in Hawaii, that same voice that founded our country, ended slavery, sent man to the moon, told you to run for office and told the majority of Americans to cast their vote for you.

That's quite some voice. I hear it telling me that for the next four years you'll be in a position where every choice you make is likened to the fourth quarter of an NBA finals game 7, with 0.3 seconds left on the clock and the ball is in your hands. Will you sink the shot? Can you handle the pressure? If you miss, can you shake it off and be confident when it's time shoot again? Are you ready?

I hope you are. No, actually I believe you are. I trust you. We trust you. And hopefully four years from now everyone will still want to be just like Obama.

I'll end my letter with this fairly well known quote from Alexis Carrel: "Man cannot remake himself without suffering for he is both the marble and the sculptor."

That being said, every time a president makes choices, he remakes himself and millions of others. Choose wisely my brother. Listen to that voice.

I can picture you, CharInOhio, just searching for places on the web to blog negatively about our new President. I agree that it must be hard to be you. Our economy crashed two weeks before the election, so yes, reality changed. What a ridiculous thing to rant against, that our President would "need the advice of LL Cool J..." Did you miss the part where Newsweek asked Americans to write letters to him? Find somewhere else to blog nonsense.

(CharInOhio) maybe you should got back to school and learn how to use proper grammar and punctuation. LL Cool J was writing a letter to our President. I am sure he just wanted to remind him that the ball is in his court now. Instead of already putting the man down, why don't you give him a chance. I voted for Obama and don't expect a rent check or free gas. What I do expect is that people who make a hell of a lot more than I do ($250,000+) pay there fair share in taxes. They can donate money and get a tax break, not all of us are in that situation. I work full-time and attend college three nights a week for four and one half hours. Plus, whats the point of donating when you ask for that money back anyway from the government? Seems like they are getting the hand outs just as much as the ghetto people right? Ignorance is not what Jesus preached, look deep within your soul and you will find that concise somewhere. :)

Hey CharInOhio you said and I quote:
'Vote REALITY next time, someone who perhaps promises LESS but can at least do what they promise....and cause REAL and GOOD changes for America....not socialist ones and fantasy promises...'
I guess someone like maybeeeeeeee Bush; probably like how you voted two times!! We tried it your way and look where it got us!!! LOL ROFL got up and LOL again and back ROFL!!!!! I'll take a socialist before a dictator any day, but you probably would have voted for Hitler anyway!!! At least communism is still around, facism is dead!!!
