These "innocent" people this article tries to depict as victims are the same people who support Hamas and their terrorist activities. They openly and joyfully celebrate the deaths of Jews and Americans. They allow Hamas to hide behind women and children and then scream foul when Israel fights back. I would also like to point out that none of these stories depicting atrocities have any documentation. Newseek prints anything and everything these people say without any outside verification. Heck I could reel off a good abuse story too. It doesn't make it true. Here's an idea for you. Stop lobbing missiles into Israel and they wouldn't have cause to attack you while you hid behind the skirts of women and children in the first place. If America was having missiles landing inside our borders would you all just sit there and take it or would you do what was necessary to protect your country? The sad thing is a of people would actually just sit there and allow themselves to be attacked.

The Gaza issue is not that complicated. Its people voted for Hamas who has sworn to destroy Israel and kill all the jews. So why make such distiction between "militant" and "civilian"? Besides, Hamas wear civilian clothing and hide behind houses to fire rockets. They never fought the israelis face to face. So what is all the noise about civilian casualties? They are all the same. They all love to be martyrs. Thay all love to hate non-muslims..

So the Israeli state has now perfected both the death squad and the lie. The irony is that the only thing holding the vengeance of the Arab world back is the existence of their fellow Muslims. Once Israel has succeeded in doing to the Muslims what Hitler failed to do to the Jew--the total annihilation of "the despised race" they will become the only target in town and their enemies won't be able to miss. Oh well-those who take up the sword will perish by the sword.

I pray that justice will be serve soon for the Gazan's. I can't believe how much hatred of some of the comment lately. Muslims, Jews, Arabs, Christian-whatever!!! These are innocent civilians-children, women, men,and elderly slaughtered. You should pray for PEACE!!!! Think of it this way, What if you are a GAZAN and those were your family? FOR REAL!!!

Billions of dollars went to Gaza. for what?
They were given a chance to be a democracy and they chose to be racist and to wage war.

Where did all the billions go? o.k, we know they had corruption, but the rest went to finance terror.

Darfur, India, England, Spain and NYC. The global Jihad is everywhere and targeting civilians, but these Gazans have elected those Jihadists.

Now the very same Jihadists are cowardly hiding in shelters in Syria and Iran while they sent the militants to hide and fight behind children.

I just don't see the point of sending them more money. It is not our job to teach people to care for their children and to want peace with their neighbors.

How can you teach the Gazans not to be so ignorant and not to be so racist and Jihadists?
How can you teach a person not to vote for a terrorist, and to invest in education and not in terrorist infrastructure?

Even the Egyptians hate them, so why should I care to help them?

The Hamas supoorters are overlooking some important points. Why did Israel do all this now? Because Hamas was shelling Israel. Because Hamas refused to renew a cease fire. Captured Hamas terrorists has said under interrigation that Hamas pushed this war into starting. They thought that Israel would respond with a small military action and then Hamas could claim victory. Hamas seems to have played brinkmanship at the expense of the citizens of Gaza. I hope that they have learned, but seeing that they broken the cease fire so many times so fare, I fear that they have not.

As an American citizen, it breaks my heart to acknowledge the fact that my government is complicit in these atrocities. It is no longer enough that we do not buy into the the propaganda of the Israeli government. Neither should my fellow Americans accept the biased reporting that passes for news. Real crimes, comparable to the war crimes of the Nazis, are being committed by our self proclaimed friend- Israel. If these actions are those of our friend then what can our enemies do to outrage us? Remember that we went to war in the Balkans to stop genocide/ ethnic cleansing. What American values are being espoused by the policies and conduct of the state of Israel?
Have we really weighed the price of this alliance in terms our long term vital interests? I know the benefits to Israel ( direct financial aide, most up to date military hardware, technology transfer- open and clandestine, diplomatic cover, robust AIPAC lobby etc) of the alliance but what is the benefit to the US? An ally whose every action creates enemies for the US? A theocracy that is falsely presented as a democracy? A supremacy ideology which is not different from that espoused by the Afrikaans of apartheid South Africa or the Nazis? A corrosive friendship that allows American citizens to serve in the armed forces of another country with the threat of espionage to our national security? The list is endless. Until and unless our relationship to Israel is properly re calibrated along the lines of our historic friendship with Britain or Canada we will continue reap the rewards of every action of the state of Israel.

Wow, it sounds like from the article above that the Israelis are able to dish it out just as they get it. My hat's off to them. They know how to fight a war, unlike the Americans.

I think the word ???self-defense??? should be redefined. Imagine if someone comes to your home, kills your children, locks you inside the bathroom, and declare that the property is his now! As desperate as you are, you open a hole into the exterior wall to have your hand reaching food, water, and a stone to defend yourself when needed. Unluckily, the invader discovers the whole, cuts your hand, tears down the bathroom over your head, and goes all around the neighborhood saying he???s the victim. This was a tragedy brought on by their supportt of Hamas and Hamas shooting rockets from civilian locations. Nothing will change until they shut Hamas down.

No surprise. Several people died the years before while waiting in the sadistic Israeli checkpoints to get transported to some hospital in Israel or Egypt. Why should they live now? They "harbour Hamas", don't they? They "deserve it"! But eventually they will learn what our democracy and western values mean. How long can they stand before they taste the juice of our "Clockwork Orange"?
And how dangerous has the world become again, now that the Gaza tunnels are back in business. The humanitarian aid that flooded their land after Israel agreed to open the crossings and allow the free flow of food and daily goods is not enough for them. Living without bombardments is not enough. Living under clear dark nights because they have no electricity is not enough. Living without the worries of oil prices because they don't have any, is not enough. No, they want more, they want commodities like ... cell phones & i-pods to arrange their Saturday nights out with their friends, discuss their investments now that the stupid UN will once again pay the rebuilding of their facilities and plan their next attacks against us. Do tunnel-digging mice need all these comforts?...
