    Uh-oh Hirsh.

Fortunately, NEWSWEAK offers up its archives from time to time to display the reckless hopefullness of those obsessed with hopenchange. Hirsh is among such creatures as we observe Hirshs Three Points.

One. Lobbyists are running the show and are back stronger than ever with the Obama administration packed with one lobbyist after another starting with Axelrod.

Two. There are no signs that GTMO will close anytime soon, thanks ironically,to Democrats, who do not want these guys parked in their constituants back yards. Even the mere rumour of detainees being sent to ''Nevada'' at the ELY Correctional Center set of a flurry of calls to Sen Reids office, all negative.

Of course,we have seen nothing from either Holbrooke or Clinton that would create even remote comfort on the foreign policy front,as we see from the mess in both Afghanistan and Pakistan and Iran and Syria and Lebanon and Israel.

Three. The Obama administration last week decided to retain ''military tribunals'' and has already gone forth with continued rendition [ four detainees to Yemen, one to Libya], wiretapping, and ''state secrets'' all of which were deemed odious to the Hopenchangers.

The economy down turn didn't just happen in the last three months. And anyone who calls themselves "the messiah" is an idiot.
