The New O-Conomy

Obama-mania is exactly what God has ordained for these last years on earth. It is all part of the impending JUDGMENT. Watch for the AntiChrist to appear in Jerusalem in the next few years --- he will avert nuclear holocaust for a short time --- the world will view him as a savior. However in due time all the nations of the world will assemble in Israel for war. And that is when Jesus Christ will return with his armies and slay the nations.

The greatest man that walked on earth? are you kidding me! just because he's the first black president doesnt mean he is the greatest man to walk on the earth. that was exaggerating a little bit to much. and he hasnt achieved anything towards world peace. i dont think this world will ever be peaceful, especially with obama as the president.

Comparing Obama to Einstein what a joke he may be intelligent but give me a break did the same to Clinton the Rhodes Scholar while calling Bush dumb. Bush's college grades wer better then Kerry's Gore's and a host of other genius democrats. Obama is a man not a God those wh believe otherwise are going to greatly disappointed.

Not interested in Obama mania myself but maybe there is a good use for this in the economic recovery. You create a category of official, approved Obama stuff that got a seal (like UL on electrical items). Seals of approval would be given only to items made in America - no imports. This would be, of course, unstated. WTO legal as far as I can tell. Not a government policy.) You could even set up a system to provide loans and accelerated depreciation to businesses making the swag in America. Bring back Tupperware manufacturing. Have Obama brooms. Michelle clothing not only by American designers but with American fabrics. Add your own ideas. It's a national resource. Play it for all it's worth.
Might even be able to export. Competition from Japan? Who would want a Prime Minister Aso brand? Or China? Ok, fashion tagged by France's First Lady might give Michelle fashion a run. Bring it on.

Despite popular opinion to the contrary, President Obama is nought but flesh and bone, a mere mortal, although from the tone of this piece, Ms Bennett is sure to take issue with me on that point, giving credence to the theorem that political loyalties know no rationale. Not being an Obama supporter during the election, I do feel that the Democrats chose the lesser of two evils, however, as our newest President, I wish for him all the strength he needs to endure four years under a microscope like no chief executive before him. The souvenir sales are only proof positve that other than being a somewhat gifted speaker who suffers from the ages old malady of wanting to be all things to all people, he is above all else a creation of the mass media oulets in this country. All the attention, positive and negative, thrust on the Obama family as a whole, has elevated them to larger than lite status. I just can't help but wonder when the man does stumble and show his true human shortcomings, and (God forbid) make a mistake, will he be left hanging out to dry like so many others before. It's the bottom of the ninth, two on and two out, and it is the President's game to win or lose. Being a proud American, I have to hope that the man has a couple of good pitches in his arsenal to back up all this unauthenticated (as yet) hype.

Good Grief, he isn't even black or white and the "brothers" are making such a deal out of him being one of their own and equating him with a tortured slave who has made good. His mother was white, and that makes him a Mulatto. In fact, he is mostly white because of his mother. We hope he will do a good job as president. Heaven knows we need to get America back on track. But, let's see some action instead of just pretty words. Will he really cut our taxes as he said he would? What will he do for our good?

wow....i voted for obama, i like the guy and all, but the fanaticism has to take a back seat now to the tasks at hand... at least hes coming through on at least some of the things he said he would on the campaign trail... thats all that really matters to me at this point. people are going a little to crazy eating up the marketing schemes tho...
