Just to add to my post...my youngest started losing baby teeth early (2 before 4 years), the 12 year old lost her first tooth at about 8.5 and the oldest was average...coincidence or has anyone heard of any sort of link?

I have a 14 year old who started at 13.5 (menstruation), a 12.5 year old who hasn't even started any sort of development and an 8 year old who has buds and body odor. All eat a similar diet and are not particularly meat eaters (other than the oldest). The younger two are close to the same height/weight. What explains such differences in one family. All are healthy, the 12 year old is a very involved dancer but eats well.
