    Let police enforce laws as was thier intention and leave the real work for the government and private contractors who have the real world experience to deal with these threats.

    Saying "Bugga! Bugga!" to scare the most amateurish terrorists out of the country is not an anti-terrorism strategy. And only a fool would think that this isn't a global war and a global clash between civilization and fanaticism. But with OBie in charge, fools rule the day now.

    The best way to prevent terrorist attacks is to get the Muslim extremists out of the thinking that it is 'them' against 'us'. The fact is that we are very happy to allow them to live their lives according to their religious tenets.... we just aren't willing to allow them to force those religious tenets on the rest of the world and even their own family member if they do not wish to follow them.
    Unfortunately also, to a lot of the extremists.... that makes us their enemy because they have been fooled into thinking that their 'god' wants them to force their religious beliefs on everyone else... whether they want it or not!

    I have to applaud Cohen's efforts. He got the chance to build his OWN intel. network, and is doing an outstanding job. There is a lack of translators in the US military, and the FBI, CIA. Cohen's translators have been called on by Federal agencies MANY times due to lack of arabic, farsi, dari, etc. translators. A 1st class organization, all the way. Arabic should be an elective at ALL public schools. We need people who speak the language, know the culture. Thier are only so many SF teams that can operate in that capacity. We need more. You must know ur enemy to defeat him.

    Cohen has all of the personnel that the CIA needs. It would be best to change the name from NYPD to CIA and let the CIA police the streets of New York City.

    I think that the best way for them to prevent terrorist attacks is to stop putting so many skyscrapers in New York!!! Did anyone ever think that terrorist aim for those building because a cow can crash a plane into a target that big! There should be better evacuation rules for building that have 4 elevators that go up to like 150 floors. People can't just climb down 150 flights of stairs. There should be some way that people can get out faster.

    Never mind this for now. Its been days since KY was crippled by the ice storm, and unlike Hurricanes, another shot of aortic air is on the way. WHERE IS THE MEDIA COVERAGE ON THE INADEQUACY OF THE RESPONSE OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO HELP THESE FOLKS IN THE COLD???? WHERE IS THE COVERAGE ABOUT WHY POWER HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED????? When it was Bagdad or New Orleans, the media was losing their minds. Where are they now???

    Isn't it a little strange that Newsweek has not had an article in weeks about the 2,500+ dead in Zimbabwe, yet gave us an hour by hour update on the dead and wounded in Gaza ? My understanding is another 50,000 Zimbabwians are infected with cholera. Has anyone noticed that Time Magazine doesn't even have a blog for Africa. It has one for the middle east, yet all the blogs are about Israel. Has anyone noticed that last year alone about 18,000 Americans were murdered by their fellow Americans ? That's probably more that 3 times the amount of Americans killed by Alkida and the Taliban in 15 years.
