    Thank you for your wonderful article. After wearing out my LP copy of "Kind Of Blue", I got the CD. It keeps company with "Sketches Of Spain", "Porgy and Bess", "7 Steps To Heaven" and many other Miles Davis albums. His music shares shelf space with many Dave Brubeck albums and other classic jazz artists. What a treasure of music that is so authentically American!

    Never mind this for now. Its been days since KY was crippled by the ice storm, and unlike Hurricanes, another shot of aortic air is on the way. WHERE IS THE MEDIA COVERAGE ON THE INADEQUACY OF THE RESPONSE OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO HELP THESE FOLKS IN THE COLD???? WHERE IS THE COVERAGE ABOUT WHY POWER HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED????? When it was Bagdad or New Orleans, the media was losing their minds. Where are they now???

    Miles Davis was a true American original, and we should all be thankful that our country can claim "Kind of Blue". It is a moving piece of art and music.

    How sad is it that the youth of today do not realize that [they] are being shortchanged by not understanding the beauty and aesthetic importance of an album such as "Kind of Blue."

    Within the "sturm and drang" of everything that is happening today without a doubt "Kind of Blue" is a masterpiece. Hear, hear, Mr. Jones, well said!

    Miles davis was a genius. Kind of Blue is the quintessential jazz album of all time. There will never be another Miles or Kind of Blue. That's as good as it gets.

    It's without a doubt, the quintessential jazz album of all time. Miles davis was a genius. I have over 75 of his albums. Pure genius. Kind of Blue is one of the best albums ever recorded, genre nothwithstanding. it will be revered 100 years from now. kbeal

    Is the estimate of 4 million copies sold accurate. Seems like a 0 or two are missing from the correct number.
