Problems in Paris, Texas

I know bothof the parties involved the accused and the deceased. THEY WERE LIKE BROTHERS!! He most certainly did not mean to run him over. As far as Paris needing just one high school,where would the cross town rivalry go? Although being a 2001 North Lamar graduate I probably have a biased opinion.On the race issue. I feel that the overwhelming amount of racism is what I hear being referred to as "reverse racism".Although I feel that is incorrect because any form of racism is simply that,racism.

What I find most disturbing is the response whites have to these situations, Immediatly the idea that race played a role in such a horrific event even thoug there is clearly racial issues in a town that maintains several landmarks celebrating it's history of racial injustice. If they called him N@@@@r while they repeatly ran over his body has no real baring. I read of this murder moths ago and still little seems to have happened. a police department that has been ineptly gathering evidence. That coupled with a court system that has historiclly shown it bias to say the least.. Suggest the out of this outrage will be an inajpropriate sentence for the murder, a man who has commited manslaughter once and now murder , will do less than 7 years.Texas is one of the most racist states in the union and I'm alway suprised when people of color voluntarily move there and bother to defend it and it's policys

No doubt in this day and age this is not about racism, but rather the long embedded matter of racial indifference that prevail in many Southern Societies, the good old boy net work, what lurks in the hearts and minds of the old and the young and the new divides and polarization that has taken place in the last 8 years during the Bush Administration. People like McCain and Palin did not incite or express hatred? You have a short memory. Comment by McCain to President Obama during one of the debates..."THAT ONE!" One McCain/Palin supporter made the comment that she could not trust President Obama..."because he's an ARAB!" Even though President Obama is a Christian...many McCain/Palin bandwagoneers still insist that he is a muslim! Sweet lips Palin insisted that anyone who supports President Obama is not part of the "REAL AMERICA!"...and we are "UNPATRIOTIC!"...and President Obama "PALS AROUND WITH TERRORISTS!" One of McCain's TV ads made the claim that President Obama encouraged the teaching of "COMPREHENSIVE SEX EDUCATION TO KINDERGARDEN CHILDREN." Baby cakes Sarah and Keating 5 John kept insisting that President Obama was a socialist...an amazing accusation...Palin's economic policy in Alaska involves "SHARING THE COLLECTIVE WEALTH AMONG ALASKANS." The economic policies of the GOP were a type of elitist socialism that favored corporate wealth and stiffed the USA workers who earned the money for these corporate swindlers. And to top it all off, I remember watching a video clip of a staunch McPalin supporter who referred to President Obama as..."******* like him are second class"...sad, but true. There were McPalin rallies during the campaign where fervent GOP supporters would shout out, "MUSLIM!", "TERRORIST!", "KILL 'EM!" Wow, I guess you were right that McCain and Palin don't incite any of this...I'm not hatin', just statin'.

I read the article that you referred to as "proof" and around the end of the article it states that American scientists accused him of ???trading on past successes to promote opinions that have little scientific basis. I will say this..I am a white woman who is the proud mother of two bi-racial children! All this hatred and demonic behavior from the HUMAN RACE scares me horribly! Why do we never hear about all the racial murders of minorities who murder people because they are white? I'm hispanic and I know how many hate crimes are committed against whites by hispanics. How much more are done by black and other minorities against whites? Where are THOSE stories?

Racism is REAL! People wake up.Yes there are color blind white people out there.I'm a Black woman from Louisiana,and I was married to a White man.When I met his parents,I thought that they were true people of God,for they were missionaries.When the marriage dissolved,so did their "kindness".I then realized the covert faces of racism are truly scary.I PRAYED with these people who pushed us to marry because we were "living in sin',but once the marriage ended,they turned on me so fast that it gave Me whiplash!!!To end this post let me break this down to y'all...my ex-husband was awarded our two children even though he is a felon, and had charges DROPPED against him for abusing my child who just happens to be Black (let us not forget that my two children with him are BLACK LIKE OUR PRESIDENT.I didn't make the rules,the U.S. Government enforced them long before I came along!!!
