I'm absolutely stunned. Didn't Pres Obama campaign on the notion that he would be the savious of the world. Wasn't there even a National News Magazine cover to that effect? But now the rest of the world must save him? I'll bet Europe is p*ssed.

What is the need for a missile protection programme for Poland, from the Russian Republic? Why would Russia want to use nuclear weapons against Poland, in any conceivable scenario? Why would the U S A, want ties to acquire a more sour taste, between Poland and the Russian Republic, by including Poland, in the programme? I may understand Israel, or Saudi Arabia, or any other Middle East, or non Middle East nation, getting this protection. Russia is not a nation inhabited by Barbarians. Russia needs to interact with the West of Europe, and the rest of the world, not out of necessity, but as a normal happening. I believe, that like France and Great Britain are now allies, reasons must be found, for Russia, and the United States to become allies. The friendship between France and Great Britain is a shining example to the rest of the world.

For what I can see the situation in the Middle East is not going to end anytime sooner. There is an agenda designated to last for 200 hundreds years by the terrorist world and United States is caught in the middle. For a long time United States has been playing to be the liberator and the big brother and while we go after the bad guys those that are closer to the action are very limited to the amount of help the need to give.
Our government pushed by behind the curtain interests and manipulated by the extreme right and with the excuse that if we don???t fight them there they will come over here and attack us, assume over 90 percent of the fight of human and material expenses; while the others that benefit most just sit around watching how our troops are annihilated, how we throw our tax money into the hands of the war profiteers.
Yes my friends behind every war there are those that profit from the killing and misfortune. The weapons manufactures and marketers, oil, equipment and after the killing and destruction the juicy contract for the rebuilding.
United need only one option and that is to give an ultimatum to the world of nations that ???if our nation and or our territories are attacked by terrorists and we find out were the attack was planed and originated, we will reserved the rights to and without notification or any alert attack, invade and occupy the origin of the attack and take possession of that nation or country and establish our laws, rules and regulation. After we finish with the last insurgent and if we decide to leave there will be no reconstruction from our part.
That is the message we should be given the terrorist nation and those who lend their country for the terrorists to launch attacks against United States.

Don't blame the Jews....they have served this country's finance quite well over the years...and still the most qualified people to get you out of this mess. Of course it is in their interest to do so as America is the essential instrument of their wellbeing. If you are itching to blame someone...blame the vast majority of hispanics ,blacks and other american consumers impotent to balance their monthly checkbooks aside from the greedy people who gave them credit.

So, we call in the rest of the world to "help" us cope with our dillema? Is'nt this a "buy-out"?
You bet! The Demoncrats are selling off America, and we, the people, have to accept it. Not.
The only thing on "world leaders" minds, is getting a piece of us. What is critical, is the need for leaders that are'nt in someones pocket. Can that ever be? We have more "foreign" people in offices that require allegience, and genuine belief in this country who ARE NOT, NOR EVER WILL BE, AMERICANS! Taking our country back means getting rid of these bastards who only prey on us for profits. Land of the fee, and home of the depraved. We did'nt make it this way, it was coerced and orchestrated by the worst scourge on this planet: Zionists. Yeah, that's right, jew bastards.

If GW Bush was our saviour, then why didn't he do something in his eight years as president? If Bush inherited Clintons recession, then why didn't he correct it, during his EIGHT YEAR TERM? I think DUMPLIN is smoking way too much crack.

    • Posted By: John Dough @ 02/12/2009 11:43:56 PM

The first four years of GWB's presidency had amazing growth despite the set back of 9/11. The next two were still good but he needed to compromise too much with the dem house. When the dems got all of congress all hell broke loose and Bush in his misguided attempt to appease them tried to outspend them. He found that task impossible.

OK JUST: IF YOU THINK OBAMA AND HIS IDEAS ARE SO GREAT, HAVE YOU EVER STUDIED SOCIALISM AND HOW IT WORKS? DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT OBAMA CAN DO A BETTER JOB THAN KARL MARX, LENIN, STALIN, MAO, LEADERS IN KOREA OR CAMBODIA ETC. IN ORDER FOR THOSE PEOPLE TO SUCESSFULLY SOCIALIZE THOSE GOVERNMENTS, PEOPLE HAD TO DIE. WHEN THE POPULACE FIGURED OUT THAT THEY REALLY DIDN'T WANT THIS KIND OF GOVERNMENT THEY WERE TOO LATE. ANSWER THIS QUESTION - WHY DO THEY NEED THE REPUBLICANS APPROVAL OF THIS BILL? THEY DON'T, AND DON'T TRY TO SAY THAT THAT IS OBAMA'S WAY OF REACHING OUT. OBAMA'S IDEA OF BIPARTISANSHIP IS THAT EVERYONE AGREE WITH HIM. JUSTIFY TO ME TAX CHEATS GETTING APPOINTED TO HIS CABINET AND LOBBYISTS WHEN HE VOWED THAT NO LOBBISTS WOULD GET A JOB WITH HIM. JUSTIFY HIS HYPOCRISY.

Okay, stop with the childish rhetoric. That is really old school fear mongering idealistic tripe...

      • Posted By: John Dough @ 02/12/2009 11:29:46 PM

Fearmogering is a democratic staple. Listen to Obama everyday. He was so positive before the election on how he was going to fix everything now it is going to take maybe years. The recession would correct itself by then. I guess he's not the messiah after all.

    • Posted By: TruthForward @ 02/09/2009 4:43:54 PM

The socialist are coming. The socialist are coming. It sounds silly. Americans know better that to call government a socialist organization. Look around you. Americans are talking about paying their mortgage and jobs, not about socialism.

You Republicans are stuck in your idealism, paralyzed to realities. We are no where near socialism; look at Europe, they are not socialist but they have larger social programs.

How ironic. Newsweek advocates for one Prez and tells world leaders to stiff arm the last one. All presidents need international support and are undermined by ideologues on both sides, but since U.S. mainstream news outlets are dominated by the left, we see just how lopsided U.S. news reporting has becomre.

    • Posted By: John Dough @ 02/12/2009 11:24:04 PM

What news reporting it is propaganda news reporting left the mainstream media decades ago.

  • Posted By: John Dough @ 02/12/2009 11:18:53 PM

Geez I thought he was the messiah he can't do everything? Boy by listening to his followers I can't believe the econoomy isn't fixed yet, there isn't world peace, bipartisianship and all ooof oour enemies now love us. What a dissappointment he has been.

When it comes to the economy, Obama is quite simply a liar. Hear him in his own words.

Why hasn't Obama repealed any major legislation that the Bush Administration pushed through? If Democrats actually opposed Republicans, they would have reviewed or at least started to assess the feasability of continuing Bush policies and Republican government growth over the past eight years.

Travellin, you want us to get out of the global marketplace but use Canada's water energy and oil from Mexico. Huh? And who is going to supply our electronics, cars, plastics, food, etc...

How much help should a guy who can still the oceans and heal the earth need from ordinary politicians?

  • Posted By: martialguy @ 02/10/2009 7:34:13 AM

The US currently has GDP of $14 trillion, shortfalls $568 billion in 2008; owes $12 trillion in external debt; and has stock of money of $1.4 trillion. If the trend was not reversed; the stock of money could only cover deficit for mostly two more years. Time could be much shorter because external debt is nearly 9 times the stock of money.

Being that I moved to the South, the Chinese & rest of the world can kiss my grits. Build our walls, high and deep. Drill baby drill and stsrt working on alternative fuels. The more money, we keep from the rest of the world indicates a soft landing. Oil prices will stay low in the meantime, if we are drilling. As speculation will be production in the future. Obviously, alternative fuels are the way to go. Use of some of the water energy from Canada. Use of Oil from Mexico, our help with developing these technologies to the Americas. Then we will deploy them to the middle East. We need to get out of the global market place.

It is indeed the crisis of the globe and for the globe. Every nation is affected by it and every nation is planning to get out of it. It would be easier to collectively undertake a plan by agreement off course , to recover from this caos. I believe it will however, be difficult to agree upon a common cause with the US and in particular it would be impossible for US to concede to other nation's capacity in management, articulation and experience.
So, nations will go for different directions and different modalities to solve their problems, but the main problem would be that other nations will succeeed in solving their problems in shorter time and lesser cost than US. US may find itself not only out priced , outcast as well. This will manifest in exclusions of US in regional and multilateral understandings and diminish the relevance of US domestic market demand and neutralizing compulsion of depending on export to US by others , in particular by emerging markets. US will be left with only one option to engage their Army by initiating a conflict which will counteract recovery plans adopted by other nations. World is now poised to withness a devastating catastrophy which will offer the biggest threat to human civilization.
