The Social Security system is a disaster, why would anyone want the gov't to take over health care. Anyone in Europe who has any money doesn't use the gov't health care system anyway they all have private insurance. The reason the national debt has risen so much is because of the war, if we get out our gov't spending will drop dramatically. All of these pollitician are liars and thieves both dems and rep.. And as for the UK,it has no parties but to the US it would be considered extremely leftist. Karl Marx had a major influence on the UK and Germany during the Industrial Revolution. So Comrade Obama won't really much of anything except push us further past the brink into Socialism and the formation of the USSA.

If you work for 25.00 an hr then drop your car off and let some one change the oil in ten minutes. or check out your groceries with a person ringing them up and bagging them. we have eliminated so many jobs because you can't live on one job making 10.00 an hour the econimics just don't work. finance companys make twice the cost of the loan for maintaining paper work!? gas companys charge 2.00 a gallon and the price of oil hasen't moved. I get fifty miles a gallon on my bike. but now the goverment wants me to pay more taxes for roads and infrastructure because I drive a clean vehicle!!! grrr I'm pissed and can't figure out why I pay taxes and have to balance my check book and noone in goverment does!

By the way, Bush didn't dictate actions that made the housing market messed up. It was policies determined by Clinton (and some of his "economic advisors" who we will have to appease again) that everyone should own a house. Too bad they didn't say who would pay for it once they stopped paying, or affording to pay, for it. And get redy to hear that we (Congress) are not raising taxes, when the Bush tax cuts are left to expire. But that is what will happen....enjoy!
