Oh boy, another Obama environmental watermelon. "We" certainly are all Socialists here!

Danny Boy - you lost. OK? You and your "idiot" of a President W lost the election.

So .. "W's" talking points just dont cut it anymore. The majority "grew up" in the last election. IF you want to continue to wedge-issue, scare-tactic, dis-info speak to feel better, go back to your "fellow travellers" listening to your fat, pill-popper radio guy, and leave the county to the grown ups that have to deal with your mess.

Tahnk you, and good bye to you and Ditto air-heads..

Daniel Shaw... There clearly needs to be a balance between protecting the environment and protecting our standard of living. Just because you disagree with Salazar's balancing point, doesn't mean he - or people who think like him - is an idiot. I for one am glad he's committed to returning both ethics and and the primacy of science to the Dept. of the Interior.... America was made great by people who lend a hand instead of people like you who throw stones.

What an idiot. Like it or not, this nation runs on fossil fuels. All the windmills in the world will not fill up your gas tanks. Yet this guy is doing all he can to stop us from trying to become more oil self sufficient. This will not help the economy. It's no secret that when the Soviet Union fell, all of their socialist fellow travelers went to the environmental wacko groups as a way to bring about the collapse of our capitalist system. Absolutely unreasonable restrictions on our energy productions has not led us away from acquiring oil from nations who wish us no good will. This is not helping us as a nation. Which is their goal. If these groups were really concerned about our environment we would hear a lot more from them about China or India. But you don't. Salazar is one of those who seek to destroy our way of life. He will not improve our standard of living or reduce our fuel costs. That's just the way it is. He's no friend of the American citizen. That's why Obama picked him. If you don't understand this, then you're an uninformed idiot and I fell sorry for you and your families.

Sounds like Obama has succeeded in appointing yet another individual, who acually has ethics and a brain.
God knows the country needs them.

Re: Public Enemy Number One: The Environment

Truth is that under Bush and his open-border wing of the Republican Party, in agreement with most congressional liberal Democrats and their fellow conspirators, the anti-environment environmentalists, like those heading up the Sierra Club (who ban even the discussion of the topic), massive legal and illegal immigration, counting descendants, represents a future overpopulation holocaust against the environment.

What an outrage. Not only did Peloci put in a huge sum for her long unfunded pet environmental project protecting a mouse (of course there are no earmarks, the whole spending part of the bill is an earmark), but the democrats took out the e-verify provisions which would insure that tax-payer funded jobs would go only to citizens and legal immigrants.

This is a bogus charge made by the lunatic republican masses.

Ken Salazar sounds like just exactly what the Interior Department needs. I hope heads roll or in other words I hope people get fired for incompetence and corruption.

The UK banned Geert Wilders but have no problem admitting to the United Kingdom the likes of Dr Ijaz Mian, who preached as follows at the Ahl-e-Hadith mosque in Derby and recorded for a television documentary,UNDERCOVER MOSQUE:

'You cannot accept the rule of the kaffir. We have to rule ourselves and we have to rule the others... King, Queen, House of Commons: if you accept it, you are a part of it. If you don't accept it, you have to dismantle it. So you being a Muslim, you have to fix a target. From that White House to this Black House, we know we have to dismantle it. Muslims must grow in strength, then take over... You are in a situation in which you have to live like a state-within-a-state - until you take over.'

Glad to hear the man values scientific results more than political objectives. Hopefully he can avoid the pressure from the far left and right. If the data say that the ecology can support drilling, then drill. If the data say that drilling will harm the ecology, then do not drill.

I think President Obama's policy is sound and lies somewhere between those Lunatic D emocrats who think the common house fly should have the same rights as a human and the GOp Right Wingers whot would sink an oil well shaft through a Soldiers grave in Arlington National Cemetary.
