IMAGE does not always mean physical, there is so much more to that word. For, if you believe the words of the Bible, ALL living things on this planet are in the image of GOD. The image of the mind is so much more the then the physical body. GOD. The One, is within all things as all things are within The One.

the church claims that "God" made us in his own image. so that mean "God" is a homosexual, hetrosexual, bisexual, etc etc.
religion is for the closed minded and the truely ignorant.
"jesus died for his own sins not for mine"

If god made people and people are gay, then god made gays. Why then are gays sinful? Surely god does not make sin. People are born gay or born straight, or somewhere in between. If you believe that your god made them, you must accept them. Period.

Keep religion out of the bedroom.

We can keep religion out, but nobody keeps God out. Since He knows and sees all things
and the Saints in Glory are witnesses, too, you have quite an audience. Sorry I butt in.

But in your own personal opinion, do you feel homosexuality is a sin or not?

Just remember The One gives us all the differences that "He" can to teach us to accept one another for what we are.

Homosexuality only became a sin when MAN decided to put it in writing in the Holy Book!

Anglicans voted overwhelmingly voted for Lambeth 1.10 in 1998 which stated that homosexuality was contrary to scripture. Little know fact: American bishops voted for Lambeth 1.10 overwhelmingly, too. However, when they got back, the revisionists got busy culminating in the consecration of Gene Robinson in a peurile, in your face gesture to the rest of the world. Since that time, the denomination went from one holding its own in the late 90's and early 00's, to the fastest declining. The diocese of New Hampshire has lost 17% of attendance in the five years. It recently announced a series of layoffs. (N.B. Gene Robinson did not offer to cut his salary.)

Now, a new church is rising up from those that the Episcopal church drove out. Many of the most successful pastors, such as Bp Minns, are part of it. They are theological conservative but with strong compassion for the poor and drive to serve. This is perhaps due to their strong ties to Christians in the third world. It is growing rapidly despite only just really started. Come have a look!

      ettu,

Bishop Minns is not an evasive person. This interview has obviously been edited. Should you be genuinely interested in CANA's position on homosexuality, it is publicly proclaimed on the CANA website:

      RADICAL INCLUSION

CANA is leading and building communities of faith where the radical message of Galatians 3:28 is lived out: ???There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.???  CANA is a place where people of diverse backgrounds show the world that true unity is possible when we are connected by ???one Lord, one faith, one baptism??? (Ephesians 4:5).  CANA is committed to [this statement:] ???we continue unreservedly to be committed to the pastoral support and care of homosexual people.  The victimization or diminishment of human beings whose affections happen to be ordered towards people of the same sex is anathema to us.??? http://www.canaconvocation.org/

This article is evasive when it comes to important issues of inclusiveness. It is also a shame that a religious movement - a schism in my opinion - starts with what appears from the outside to be theft of the property of another institiution. I will be more interested in what Bp. Minns has to say when he and his are no longer embroiled in lawsuits started by their own unwillingness to "shake the dust from their sandals" and start anew in a house they built themselves rather than claiming possession of one built by generations of faithful parishioners of the Episcopal Church of the USA. Bp. Minns is from overseas and may not fully understand the protective impulses we in the "colonies" still have when threatened by the Brits..or others from overseas.. especially when they represent exclusiveness of the disenfranchised and the vulnerable of society.

Generations of faithful Episcopalians would be aghast at how far the denomination has fallen. The American Anglican Council has prepared a helpful document which details this including a list of classical heresies now espoused by Ms Schori. See it here, http://tinyurl.com/bks6ro .

Newsweek devoted an entire featured article on a very shallow and biased report on the Gay is OK theology-lite that is becoming the norm in the Episcopal church. Then we have only seven fairly silly questions to Bp Minns does well answering. Bp Minns must be getting tired of liberals making poorly veiled attempted racist slurs that he is an "African" or a "Nigerian" as if those were pejorative.
