When American people wake up and see that government does not want people to be able to see the dishonest acts they commit that way the government can get away with it free,take for example when bush was SO CALLED elected into office 9 years ago and it just so happened that the Florida polls just happened to stop working, and oh by the way it was the Florida count that made him president and DON'T FORGET that jeb bush was the GOV. OF FLORIDA AT THE TIME!!! AND NO ONE DID ANYTHING ABOUT THAT!!! However just let all Americans keep sitting on there lazy behinds letting politicians continue to ruin the American way of life namely republicans and watch what happens,its already started and it will get worse! Do you want to live under a bridge with no means to enjoy life watching your children do without, unable to afford not even the simple things in life the whole time watching hispanics get your jobs or see your job moved to good ole mexico where the wage is .07 cents per hour?Wake up America if the hispanics were such good people there country wouldn't look like a dump and drug traffic would not be the trade of choice its that way because that's the way the hispanics are!!! Come to Tennessee and look into the double standard work comp policy,look into the 800,000.00 per year pay of the top person of TVA,look into why people of small towns like westmoreland pay 80.00 a month for water when people of the richer neighborhoods like brentwood pay only 12 to 24 dollars,ask a local atty.if businesses in the state are ALLOWED to operate under levels of dishonesty hear it for yourself,ask Diane black the idea she has on getting more money for the state(raise the taxes on the service industry that means construction)ask people what the term means the right to work state let me tell you,it means that business owners have the right to pay you sub standard wages for pay and stuff the rest in there pockets,it means that business owners have the right to give a skilled trade job to a friend or someones cousin or bubbas brother who IS NOT TRAINED TO DO THE JOB RIGHT BUT THEY WILL GO IN AND DO SUB STANDARD WORK SO THE JOB WILL FAIL AFTER 1 YEAR AND THE CUSTOMER HAS TO BY IT AGAIN AND THAT'S WHAT KEEPS THE BUSINESSES HERE IN TENNESSEE IN BUSINESS,SO THE TRAINED WORKER HAS NO CHANCE HERE TO GET A JOB UNLESS YOUR WILLING TO COMPLY WITH THE DISHONEST METHOD OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE!! Here in this state its one dishonest act after another!!! Ashamed to be an American at this point I fully understand how you feel and I to was fro Hillary and was very sad when she did not make it!!! And this is the COLDHARDTRUTH !!!

Obama has been a pleasant surprise. He claimed he'd rule from the center and be the president of both sides of the isle and, thankfully, completely abandoned that position with the first week in office. I say thankfully because after 8 years of excessive Republican spending, Obama is going to blow them out of the water with Democratic spending to make your head spin. Maybe then, the American people will get mad enough to realize there is something wrong with the washington establishment and get rid of a lot of the other sucker fish that have been bleeding our economy (Frank, Dodd, Rangle). Unfortunately, there may not be much left of our nation by the time we get there.

Is this the same establishment that got us in to all this trouble in the first place? So he doesn't have what it takes to please them? Then maybe he's actually on the right track. It's barely been a couple of months Howard, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.... I've already seen this article quoted by the party of NO people to suppor their blather. You can do better.

The pundits need controversy to drum up ratings. No real substance is being discussed that I can tell. It's this one against that one. Enough. Most people can't be bothered anymore with the "news media's tricks". It took a long time to get into this financial mess and it'll take some time to figure it out and turn the thing around. Give Obama and his team credit for heroic efforts in such short time. Reasons for the financial debacle: At the top - Overly paid "executive compensation, greed, short-sightedness, fraud, selfishness, gambling. And for the rest of us? Temptations of over-consumption garnered by advertisements thrown at us at every turn. Enough. How about sustainable living and equitable pay? What concept!

I think there are two faces to BO. One, which the public enjoys is the personal. He and his family are so "father knows best" type. Genuine. He comes across as a real person, what you see is what you get. How different than the Bush's backroom secretive methods, neo-cons making policy in the back room, VP the power that was not accountable. Now, the Other OB is the ultra liberal, maybe even European socialist, that has a very strong agenda. You see it in the budget, you see it in his speeches, you see it in his priorities. That makes us very uncomfortable to say the least. And finally, the performance factor. All of what Fineman listed as drops are right on. Yet, at this point, I'm ready to give him a pass for at least 6 months. He was handed quite a basket of issues and problems, and I don't expect everyone hitting the ground running day one.A lot of this is just inside the beltway, and radio talk "take me downs". He got to be able to hit some doubles and triples soon though, or confidence will start melting away.

The baby boomers turned on the "establishment" in the 1960's. And trust me. Some of the baby boomers have the money, power and time to turn on it again! I haven't forgotten about Watergate. Or Kent State. (Remember this? You know: where the government had the National Guard shoot unarmed college students, killing some?) Or Richard Nixon: resigning from the Presidency? Just a few shining examples of Republican leadership from the past. The "establish-ment did nothing to correct America's course during these events. The establishment did nothing to sound the alarm about this economic crisis that threatens to ruin our nation. They had 8 years to discuss it. So the bottom line is this: the "establishment" has no power over President Obama. The establishment's power is a figment of it's own imagination.

I'm sorry, but if these people put up with two terms of drunkin, I've destroyed my daddy's oil companies while running Texas into the group Bush for two years, you can definitely put up with Obama. I'll say it again, stop drinking the white and bitter coffee.

i'm wagering that obama will not complete a full term he will resign or be ousted by his own party ! any takers ??
