Without a doubt anger will expedite the impeachment of Scumbama.

The real model of populist anger should be the battles in the early 20th century by workers to get their share of economic growth. In the early industrial age we had a 2-class society, and factory workers could put in monster hours and feel like it wasn't getting them anywhere. A few leaders like Henry Ford had the vision to see that having a middle class would multiply his business, but most were too shortsighted or selfish (not unlike today). Unions and the Great Compression led to formation of a middle class that drove a lot more growth than would have happened under a 2-class society.

We need to get back to rewarding hard work. Workers need to realize that upper managements have been taking marching orders from Wall Street and are NOT going to be benevolent unless the workers get some leverage to force it. Those who don't think unions are the answer should be made to say what is, because they have yet to come up with another idea that works. People are working long hours and are being more productive than ever, but the old "contract" whereby workers got a fair share of benefits from doing so has been reneged on. And you can't make up the income difference sustainably by borrowing against a house or a 401(k)!
