What are your doing? This country is in dire turmoil and you keep feeding the frenzy. Don't you realize that the vast majority of Americans never read a magazine article? They look at the covers in the checkout line and read "Obama is Wrong!" and say to themselves, "Newsweek says Obama is wrong," and they believe it. They don't know Krugman, they don't know that the point of he artice was that he thinks Obama should have gone further than bailouts and acutally nationalized the banks. Why aren't you helping instead of constantly feeding the flames of failure? Any plan will fail if everyone keeps flailing at it and no one explains how it c work,CAN work, not just keep going on and on about how it cannot work. When you get your way and this country falls into desolation, I hope your editors take their share of the blame, because it will not be Obama's fault. It will lay directly at the door of media - for all the negative press and never any positive explanations. I keep saying that I should cancel my subscription and not put my money at your doorstep, but reading your drivel is the only way I can understand why this country is on the brink of disaster. Shame on Newsweek!

I am an optimist. The glass is always half full. This country is just too great to fail! I for one believe that we are on the road to something right or wrong and that is very important. To not attempt a fix is the worse possible scenario. If this is not the correct direction then I say we reroute and try another approach; never saying we are just doomed and there is nothing we can do except fail.

So heavy on why we should listen to Krugman, so light on what he actually has to say. Thank god for The Economist!
