These are great, Mr. Will. For you, can you make an all star MLB team, position by position, using back to back 2 time, or more MVP winners? How about, in the history of MLB, there have been 9 players with 3 consecutive seasons (or more) or 40 plus homers, 100+ rbi, and .300 of better BA. Can you name them? Or, who are the only two members of the 500 career HR club never to win or share a single season HR title? Or, which member of the 500 career HR club never hit more that 40 dingers in a single season?

    Thanks,

    David Mink

    Mr. Will,

A wonk is someone who has too much information and uses it to drive folks crazy. In a sense we pay you with our attention. Or by purchasing the magazine or paper.

Here is a secret you should bone up on:

Then spread some remedy. Help us all, you are the press you know.

PS: the poster usakapusa had some good advice. Take it.

Am I alone in thinking that George Will has completely lost the plot in the last few months? Plots against Hitler was dubious enough, but now we get recondite sports trivia? The last page deserves better than this irrelevant tosh. Time for a new columnist, please, editors.
