ephedra was linked to heart attacks and strokes only in people w/ rather severe existing conditions. a harvard study found it to be safe for use in healthy individuals. but of course, this doesn't make for exciting news so the myth of the dangers of ephedra are perpetuated.

AND ON ELLICIT DRUGS.... TIME TO END PROHIBITION

THE WAR ON DRUGS IS A WAR ON OUR OWN SOCIETY

Prohibition strains the Constitution and The War on Drugs has been a misguided failure. END IT.

This is all fine to let us know what we shouldn't take, but if you realy want to help people, then you should also show what is OK to use.

That would be getting off the couch and walking or jogging but, more importantly not consuming as many calories. It's pretty much simple math..

An excellent and timely post. With more than 50% of Americans either overweight or obese, interest in easy ways to lose weight and keep it off remain at a fevered pitch and over-the-counter manufacturers of diet pills know it. With so much misinformation about nutrition and weight loss still saturating the media, it's easy to be taken in by false claims these manufacturers make. I've just written a post called "The Truth About How To Lose Weight" on my own blog readers may find useful.
