"They deserve some justice after what they suffered." Oh, you mean the people that cheered the deaths of 3000 of your countrymen on 9/11? Yeah, sure, poor babies...lets give them "justice." (-:

    Wonderful Mr. Isikoff!

You are proof that investigative journalism of the American kind is still alive and well.

We have the right to no-longer have secrets. Everyone must be accountable and even Obama has said, " Make me accountable." Enough of Newt and Chaney and their secrets! How dare the GOP try to blackmail our President!

So, avoiding embarrassment of "...foreign intelligence services who cooperated with the CIA, either by participating in overseas "extraordinary renditions" of high-level detainees or housing them in overseas "black site" prisons..." trumps the rule of law? I think Mr. Brennan needs to have his moral compass readjusted. It is leading him astray.

RE: OKLAHOMA STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND GOVERNOR OF OKLAHOMA (SUGGESTED ARE GOOD OLE BOYS) STATEMENT FROM VICTIM OF MULTI MILLION DOLLAR FRAUD AND SEVERE ABUSE OF POWER IN OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA FROM 2002-2009 Lady Sara B. Atkinson Church aka Sara Church
I suggest you Drew Edmondson, etc. both had knowledge and assisted in this Overt Cover Up attempt of the RICO crimes. The Babylon666 Conspiracy or the Darkness is becoming known and the wrongdoers will not get away. Namesake and being perpetrators are not excuses for permitting such violations in any State within the United States of America. I was tortured for no reason, others were also tortured and we had done nothing. We had done nothing to warrant what occurred.

Any and all documentation which I supplied you, I provided under severe duress. I was tortured and so have others (I have pictures) via unlawful levels and misuse of some law enforcement? Etc. and so have others via the overt misuse of State security systems for being the victim(s). The case CJ-2000-1062-66 (666), et. al. will not stand to your favor Mr. Edmondson, under any serious scrutiny.

I really did believe in my State. I do believe in my State just not in this poor unbalanced and corrupt leadership, I believe in the people, not you Mr. Edmondson. I am a National/International and I demand to know what security checks were run via the request of Toby Keith, etc? Any security check on a National/International should have been run thru the Pentagon since I had just completed a tour with them a few years prior to 2003. I, also via my experience have several people who have suffered outside the State of Oklahoma. In addition, I am forwarding all information internationally because of the unauthorized breaches and the unauthorized use of the CIA Iraq program.
I demand an investigation of your office. There are 18 victims and any witnesses are too scared to come forward without press.
    Sincerely,
    SBAC

Of what advantage would it be to the US to release this kind of intel, other than to give free info to our enemies? Seriously, why should our enemies waste time with spies, when all they have to do is read our Newspapers/websites...has it really come to this?

Under Bush/Cheney America has lost its' MORAL AUTHORITY. When a country has lost its' moral authority its' citizen are no longer treated with respect and their very lives are in danger. It used to be that in the eyes of the rest of the World, America, and American's were the 'good guys', they guys in the 'White Hats' and that gave our officials and soldiers and citizens much leverage over other people and other nations because Americans were seen as being honest brokers who lived by law and believed in justice. That is the real American dream - not just material prosperity. Without MORAL AUTHORITY, again, every American official, soldier and citizen lives are at risk and furthermore, it has made it very difficult, if not impossible, to get other nations to support US positions. American can not 'go it alone.' Bush did that and he failed miserably and has brought the US down because of his reckless, lawless, wild west cowboy attitude. Just as importantly, when the United States behaves like a terrorist, then people like Osama Bin Laden can say 'See, I told you so. The United States is not good, the US is a bully, the US is lawless.'

If anyone really is concerned about the importance of the Geneva Convention they should read up on what the US Military has to say about the subject and why the US Military's policy has always been against torture. Torture does not produce reliable, good, acitonable intelligence. Instead, torturing others endanger all Americans and has catastrophic consequences for America's future.

        You are exactly right.

As a vet, I remember all of those folks in Gulf War 1 that just simply gave up. They knew that they were beat and that we would treat them with respect. From an historical perspective this was a far cry from the Japanese who killed themselves because they believed we would rape, murder and torture them.
Next time we have a war, would you give up to the Americans if you were Muslim?
What Bush did to our sense of law, honor and moral fiber was reprehensible, and it all needs to come out.
IMHO Bush did more to harm our military and their families than any President in history, and it will be years before we work our way out of this hole.

It is time for the US to expose all the wrong-doings of the CIA. It has given a bad image to all US administrations. By exposing these documents, the US government can have a new chapter with the CIA and can come out clean while the CIA will be more responsible over its actions. This is one of the changes that Obama can make and not let the CIA do whatever it likes on the pretext of National Security and in the interest of the nation and other bul*****ts.

I believe President Obama talked about HIS AND HIS ADMINISTRATION'S TRANSPARANCY! Are we to make President Obama responsibile for the previous president and his administration's actions? The repubs forget they were in power for SIX of the eight years of former President JWB and the wars were started while on THEIR watch. By the way, during the campaign, McCain kept saying: "I know how to fight wars, I know how to win wars, and I know how to find Bin Ladin" He (McCain) had EIGHT LONG YEARS TO APPLY HIS "KNOWLEDGE" AND fight the wars correctly, win the wars, and cpature Bin Laden. Why didn't he?? Because McCain has no knowledge on how to fight a war, how to win a war, and where to find Bin Ladin. Talk about a lot of hot air coming from the repubs!! It never ceased, etiher!!

Open the files. Dis-bar Jay Bybee and John Yoo. Prosecute Bush/Cheney and Rumsfeld. Clean out the neo-con infection and let the healing begin.

If there was ever a time to fold a losing hand this is it. Our intelligence community must be the biggest losing hand in the history of mankind.

Release the Torture Memos and let the chips fall where they may. Complicit foreign services need to feel the heat as much as the people in our intelligence community who presided over torture, supposedly for the good of the nation. It is just one more instance of them being completely wrong.

With all the money, time and power in the world they have failed us miserably... both morally and practically, and they are absolutely complicit in America's decline.

They should be held accountable by public disclosure, if nothing else.
