I must disagree with the answer to the "bring a friend shopping" question. If I were to tell my friends I needed them to go shopping with me because of their great taste and I am going to bomb without them, they'd know I was lying and be rather offended. I have great taste and am often asked along by friends for my good eye. Worse, to trash oneself that way is demeaning. If I like to go shopping, and I do, I would be simply honest with whomever I am inviting, "I know you're unemployed, but we always have fun shopping together. I don't want to place you in an uncomfortable position and will understand if you think going is currently imprudent, but would you like to go shopping with me, even if only window shopping." I think the quiz correct answer is insulting to all parties. We are adults, these are our friends. Compassionate honesty and understanding work better than lying, even white ones.
