Yeah, this is just what we need. More animals like beavers to help destroy what's left of the forests. Bad idea!!
Conservationists hope to turn back the clock on Europe's wilderness by more than 11,000 years.

What a beautiful initiative and long overdue. Turn the clock back to before Christianity entered Europe. Turning the Clock back to before the Middle East and its destructive religions changed the world.
Congrats for such great initiative. IF humans could stop overbreeding, we would have a beautiful world to live in and a great gift for further generations.
This is really great idea. Let them have the entire island repopulated by wild life. Polar bears in the North, black bears in the West, regular beasts in the mid-section and lions in the South where statues of lions are already erected. No need to bring any deer. The beasts can devour human. That would be just wondeful And do not forget vultures anf hyenas for sanitary causes..
The world belongs to all creatures, not just humans.
i have a hedgehog and loads of various species of birds and squirrels in my rear garden and the country park very near to me has loads of lovely species -what a joy nature is -and i love animals in wilderness rather then in sancturies or zoos -really its the habitat that is incumbent rather tnen existentce itself
This article gives me hope, but I think it is more fantasy than reality. We should focus more energy on protecting the last remaining rain forests...
This article gives me hope, but it seems more fantasy than reality. Sadly, there is no room for the nature in today's world. At least, as long as humans continue to reproduce and use up resources beyond the threshold of sustainability. We should focus our energy on rain forests and areas still in their natural state...
Now if we could just get rid of those pesky humans!
Heh beavers, we still have them in Poland, and it is probably the last animal species that tries to fight back against human domination. In places where there is a lot of them it is practically trench warfare between them and the farmers - the beavers are flooding the fields and villages, and farmers, well, they can't do much because killing beavers or destroying their dams is against the law so I guess they destroy the dams illegally or call the press :) Anyway, several years ago there was just several hundreds of them, now there are thousands and they are flooding the country. If beavers can do that I just can't imagine what elephants could :)
