I was so excited to see this article, even giddy at the fact that Power Station, Damn Yankees, Bad English, Mad Season, Audioslave, and Velvet Revolver were included. WAS being the term. Clearly, Ms. Wooten must not be that much of a music fan. The fact that she emphasized "Power Ballads" for Bad English and Damn Yankees proves that fact.
Really, Kristi? So you didn't hear any fist-pumping, head-banging tracks on ANY of these albums? Or maybe it's the fact that you've kept your ear so closely glued to Top 40 radio that you haven't bothered to listen to any of these albums in their entirety. Maybe you should get your ears checked and give a listen to these bands albums, and THEN make your decision. Better yet, maybe Newsweek needs to hire someone who knows what the hell they're talking about.
