excellent points, very well written. I am encouraged more and more to stray from "environmental arguments" and just look at things for what they are. What are the systemic implications of human activity? I feel that environmentalists have missed the point in convincing others to jump on board because they have made it "about the environment." Well, its fundamentally about us. Every single organism can live on this planet without us. We, however, are fundamentally threatened, as a species, by every form of degredation to environmental bodies. The trick is, of course, managing and identifying these risks before its too late. It is about our survival - self-preservation. The message of too long has been "think of the trees, the bears, the icecaps!" Where we should have started talking ago about, "our health, our children, our livelihood, our resources, heck - our vacation spots!"...our fundamental ability to be happy and exist. The path to save the environment and ourselves is unequivocally identical, the question for some reason tends to be more about preferred methods than results.
Nowadays life is hard for everyone to handle because of the world recession. Because of the crisis, many people lost their job, they have no money to take care of the family. Some people suicide because of this reason. When people go out to shop, they tend to buy something cheap, even they know the quality of the product is bad or the food that they buy is unhealthy. As long as they have food to eat, they don't really care. As we can see, nowadays when we go to those burger places, we will see many people eat there. Hamburger is never a good place to eat because the amount of calories in the food are really high. The food is cheap, that's why people come out and in there are much more compare to other places. Children is a group of young, things that for children much be good quality and not effect their health. As this article said that, put lead, mercury, and some other chemical to the toys for children will have a great effect to them such as their health. So people should stop doing those worse thing even the economy is in a bad condition.
