CRAP this sounds like a great mix of unusual band mates... I can't wait to hear what it sounds like. These guys are truly leaders in "power pop" in their own rights so this band could sound like anything. With Adam doing a lot of the writing, we're guaranteed some great tracks. FoW has been a fave of mine for a long, long time.

Now... anyone else curious what was on that "power pop" mix CD besides me???

It is not a tainted window. this is the newest rock band, how new it is? the term "newest rock" sounds good! not to be replaced by otherssss
recently, there r not many new rock bands in the US music scene, the most recent one i heard is a band sings " I am not alone"!
this band really rocks, with 4 or 5 band members in it, i forgot! but how i wish they could have an onstage live performance, like, they coould appear on MTV or whatever TV stations, just to made themselves known.

these days,. we al bla bla bla, it's good to have new bands so we could listen to somewhat |new| music!

music, or not, it could be classical, heavy mental, r and b, soul, jazz, any good songs/music for listening. god bless

Like OMG... gag me with a spoon, like for sure, as if. Rock is now following the lead of country music (there really is no such thing anymore but they continue to call it that) Bad, really bad thin tied 70's and 80's rock. Besides, it been done to ad nauseam. Actually, I think it could be the Partridge Family and they discovered Ibanez tube screamer in someones glam closet.

Power pop is the downfall of modern rock music. They're everything that's WRONG with the music industry.

Rock's new "supergroup"? You have to be kidding me. Carlos and Iha are great, but the rest...no thanks. Heard it, not that interesting.

I've been curious about Tinted Windows since they announced the upcoming release of their album in February. The two tunes I've heard, "Kind of a Girl" and "Messing With My Head" are quite catchy. I've read that Schlesinger deliberately wrote rather simple lyrics on purpose so a listener could focus on the hooks, and the guitars, and not really have to pay attention to the words. So, it will be interesting to listen to the rest of the CD and see what they've come up with.

What?!?!? whats not to love? its got Carlos for cryin out loud.. why did you even read this review...did you mistake it for a LIMP BISCUT review. these cats are first rate power pop musicians if anybody that is a fan of that genre would know. so go clean the mustard off your Van Haggard t-shirt and lets just all get along.

I've been cautiously optimistic since hearing of this group earlier this year - I'm a fan of Hanson.FoW and Cheap Trick and I LOVE power-pop, so hopefully this album will be as good as I'm dreaming it will be. Best of luck to them and I hope they find a huge, welcoming audience!!!
