I hope I don't sound racist, because I don't think I am, but I feel like anyone who thinks that BET is a "black-run" television channel, still hasn't understood who runs it, and who determines what's played on that channel. It's still run by whites, and it's nothing they should be proud of. BET should have better quality shows that also reflect the intellect of african-americans so that maybe ingnorant white people would stop having such lowly stero-types of them. It's such a complicated issue. Bottom-line: People ARE born equal, it's society and pressures that make them appear otherwise. I just wish both sides would stop focusing on color. Black comedians need to stop pointing it out so much, and white supremacists need to just hang themselves.

This is the problem with American people and it is why we will always be taken advantage of by our government. Americans are stupid. 99% of us only focus on who the President is and not who is really affecting their lives.
People don't realize that the politician that affects their life the most is their local politician, not the President. What do you think the President does? Sit up on a throne and tell people what to do? Americans are just dumb.
The President is more of a supervisor than anything. With a few minor exception, a President can do very little without the support of Congress. Even if a President vetoes a bill, Congress can override it with a 2/3 vote.
So get a clue people. Bush or Obama are not the problem. It is your local government officials decisions that affect your life. State sovereignty...look it up.-

It doesn't matter if the President is an agent for "change" because if everyone else is still playing the same old game, there will be very little "change." The reason why Obama is getting what he wants is because he has the support of the Senate. And they will keep giving you a taste of what you want as long as they think you will vote for their party.

Black slaves were sold and traded by their own African people. The slaves that were sold and traded to Europeans were already slaves or prisoners in Africa. Slavery existed in Africa long before Europeans arrived in Africa.
This is fact. Feel free to look it up. I am sure you fantasize that Africans were out minding their own business and angry white people came and took them from their loving homes, but it is not the truth.
In fact, almost every civilization in all of recorded history had slaves at one point. Get a clue. -

That is actually completely false. Most of the trouble areas for blacks are in big cities. The influences are a big part of it.
I lived in a town in NC of over 6K people that was 95% black. There were little problems, if any, with people and almost everyone had jobs and contributed to their community. Aside from the color of peoples skin you might find it quite similar any average small town. With exception of a few bad apples that you could find in any town, you would feel quite comfortable to live there if you can get over the race issue.
Their attitude was quite different than you would find in a bigger city. Influences are the key difference. -

When one group gets preferance over another you are going to have problems. I try not to be a racist, but I didn't see McCain getting endorsed on awards shows or talk shows. Obama is called an african american president. But he is half white. I'm tired of being made to feel that being white is bad. Further more White people get it. The goos people are treated badly because the way others act. I fell bad for them. I try to treat each person as an individual. One final question; why are there so many blacks in prison. This world is complex. You can't stop someone from doing what they want. It just doesn't work that way anymore. Unless you want to go to jail for a very long time. There has been too much that has happened in our society for it to ever go back to that. You can try to convince someone to see it your way. Although I think your techniques are a bit rough. In the end, each person has a choice.
If you really want to live in that type of world, I am afraid you will have to convert to Muslim and move to a devout Muslim country. They are about the only people that still have that type of mentality.

Can you tell me one white neighborhood in the US that we could go to right now where there would be white kids shooting at people for wearing the wrong colors on a daily basis like we could all find in black neighborhoods here in the US right now?

Just a couple months ago some young black kids waited until after a basketball game here in Chicago and opened fire on people as they came out. And then it happened again two weeks later. So please tell me how this behavior from black boys is somehow different than your description of "mentally ill white boys?" And do you think that God didn't create the beautiful creation of white people?

this is not about black and white! This is simply about power. I'm not sure why you can think that you have such power to create and lead a gruop for any type of prejudice. IT IS NOT OKAY! Ithe reason More power is being placed into the banks is an attempt to transfer power over the Currency and or credit processs to the government. if the Government controls the banks they also control who gets say Home loans all of this can cascade into the government the government creating more social programs since they gain control of the banks they dont nessecarily need to spend the tax payers money if they have a say where the share holders money goes. Its very complex, all of the problems with the Bailouts , and can only get worse especialy when the current answer to the national debt is " Hey we will just print more money!" Our real problem is That we arent making ourselves heard as voters and as real Americans. This looks like pictures from the same event. How does this show the rise of hate groups in America? Talk about grasping staws. Obama was elected by a majority of Americans in this country. Stop trying to look for some kind of ground swell of hatred and racism. It's not there.

This saddens me that all this stupidity still can get a hold of us, all this is is ignorance. We are all one race the Human Race. The Pastor of my church taught on how racism is a sin. Both Black and White and I know I will be labeled as a idiot.
But Jesus is a respecter of no one, FYI Jesus isn't White he is middle eastern.

most black people donot realize, he got where he is because a white family raised him,think where he would have been if he went with his father,who like to abandon there children[just look at all the black mothers raising there children in a one parent home] ill believe we have a black presidentwhen he or she comes from african american parents on both sides. swami

The white people that enslaved your people are long gone. Get over yourself. A billion years? That comment shows how ignorant you are. Humans were not on this earth a billions years ago. If you black women are so proud, how come black men are always trying to defile our white ladies? Your husband supports his family. So what? He does not deserve any accolates for that. It is his responsibility.

This is so sad and it saddens my heart to see this. The bible doesn't teach you to hate. I hope that these people don't call themselves Christian and attend church every Sunday and go to Bible study Sunday school, etc. It is funny that I spoke with someone on yesterday and they were under the impression that if you were saved that you automatically was going to Heave. That is not what the word teaches. Along with being saved, you have to do the will of God and the His word be your light. In 1 John 2:15 says, Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Amen. This has to stop. What is there to gain? Nothing What is the there to lose? Your spot in Heaven. You can't live for the World and still live for God. It is just not possible. The bible also says in Roman 8:6 that "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." If you don't get it right with no one else, get it right with Jesus. I hope the right people read this and have a blessed day.

Why is it there is a black history month, and hispanic month, and gay pride, but if some one hollars white history, they are called racists or biggots, do whites not have the same rights to expression.
both races are becoming a minority as more and more children are being born with both white and black parents
