Rebranding Hate in the Age of Obama

I was not to impressed with this piece. Writing about a few hillbilly cousins gathering in the woods chanting age old traditions of their backward, repressive local culture, then calling it a threat, ended rather lame for me. I bet the author of this piece would be surprised if I was to say that there are bigger groups out there that do not support, but are watching closely and quietly the administrations actions on issues that concern Israel. There seems to be a consensus among some in these groups that, President Obama may take action against Israel and its policies in the future that would indirectly support their ideologies. As a result of this presumption very little verbal or written attacks are being directed toward the administration at this time. If the author of this piece is deriving his information from the fact that this website and others are overwhelmed with tolling arm chair commando's, rest assured they are harmless.

Those pathetic hate groups have always existed, they are nothing new. What IS new is the loose application of the term "hate", to peace-loving Americans everywhere, simply because they disagree with the current administration's policies. Every time you turn around someone is trying to label anyone with differing opinions as "terrorists". When people call conservatives "crazies", that is a hate-term. Really who is more whacko ... people that peacefully assemble or voice their opposition to a policy, or those who go around paranoid that all conservatives are out to get em. People should stop trying to label law-abiding citizens that disagree on policy with isolated nutjobs; it lacks common sense.

Extremist groups? no buddy, try "Fox News!" these alarmist are constantly telling America that Obama is the most dangerous man in America...hello? extremist groups my Aunt Peg, look no further than Bildo, Hannity and Rush, for they are the new Grand Wizards for 2009.

For the writer of this story to imply the President is somehow "responsible" for the hatred that infects America is as stupid as stupid can be. The type of hatred rampant in this country existed LONG before Mr. Obama was born. And to think, America is worried about North Korea! This country will be destroyed from within long before any so-called enenmy has a chance to do so.

What I need explained is; what have "black people as a whole, done to white people, as a whole? I can find no reason for the white supremeist groups to "hate" american blacks. I do know some reasons why american blacks could dislike whites.

Violence is not exclusive to physical violation. Words as well as gestures can be violent. Just because these groups are not lynching does not mean they are not violent. By nature, hate is violence. Racism is violence.

The nonviolent ethic requires one to love all of humankind, not just white people. As Cesar Chavez declared in the Prayer of the Farmworker???s Struggle,

Help us love even those who hate us; So we can change the world.

When they speak of deporting people back to their home countries, you can tell just how dumb these white supremists are, they seem to have forgotten that America is not their home country either! White people are originally from Europe, white people are all immigarnts to North America just like every other ethnic group. The North American Continent, including what is now the USA belongs to the Native Indians, this is their homeland, North America/ the USA is the Native Indian's homeland! The Europeans traveled by ship across the Atlantic to get to North America. Maybe the white supremists would know this if they spent their time reading a book about North American history, instead of spending their time wallowing in their self-pity, and hatred, and making up lies. Instead of spending their time on the internet complaining, and writing hatred about other nationalities, maybe the white supremists should get a job, and if they can not find one start their own businesses, and stop complaining about people not hiring them -- maybe they are not getting hired because people have seen just how uneducated, and hateful, they are -- and no one wants people like this working for them. Why would anyone hire a person they knew was a racist to work for them, why would a company want to be associated with someone who has bad character, who walks around claiming that they are white supremists, and better than others ethnic groups, and have hatred for other ethnic groups. Get a clue -- Companies do NOT want to be associated with racists. Companies want to hire people who have good character. Racists DO NOT have good character.

I am on the mailing list of the Southern Poverty Law Center and I would other people to learn more about this excellent organizaation that has done some stalwart work in terms of monitoring intolerance against various groups of people. Their wesbite is www.splcenter.org and they even have the Civil Rights Memorial Center in front of their offices in downtown Montgomery AL. I visited the museum and it was one of the most inspiring places I have ever visited.

let me guess extrmist groups just stop any were with a boom box to call the attention with ice cream that we all know that the rest probable was learned from politics, same story nothing change !......

Abortion is not a political issue and has no place in politics. President Obama belief stems from the fact that a persons choice is theirs and is protected by the constitution. It is not the government or anyone else role to dictatate anyone elses private decision.

Catholics,right to lifers etc.,have a right to voice their opinion and help lead people to the right decision,not to pass judgement or influence legislation that would remove that right to privacy. Or worse,cloud the fundamental issues that face our nation today and in the future.

We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts,foreign ideas,alien philosophies,Ungodly values and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people and acts cowardly.

And regarding Mr:Obama I don't think is hate the way I and some people feel about him the problem is with him self to create and bring a new ideas about our govermrnt and the complex to feed some people brain the oportunity to renew a ne wway of hate to any one that is only one of his problems just look around you lately are now new ideas to desegregate estudents at some schools with the excuse of control intern problems on better way ? so what is next we going to be separated on our jobs so they can control better the production ? or we going to divide our Nation again ? what is wrong with you people this is this is the better way to live as Mr:Obama is talking about .......
