    Agreed,
    battling,
    and now defeated,
    but they backed their words,
not provided such assistance as promised,
Pakistan has dire need of financial and ecnomic aid.

Displaced families peoples 2 millions in numbers,
are coming back tom theire home,
they have to rebuild their homes destroyed during the opration,
they have to restart their business,
    finished during war on terror.
I am saying world community come forward and provide aid with opened heart.

What have done Pakistan's armed forces
    battle with extremists,
when new generation see the pages of the history
find glorious character in defeating the terrorists
before them super powers remained faile to finishe.

Our army is not killing own people they are rather spotting and snapping your siblings. They say that old habits die hard and that???s proved now. You are like spoiled brats who think that after hatching a separation movement in East Pakistan and succeeding there, can now try same in Swat or else where in Pakistan. Maroons! You are wrong. In 60 years we have learnt one thing that this way or that way keep kicking the Indian A$$ every now and then. And don???t be very proud of your shameful track record. Yours is also not some Utopian land. Don???t feel happy over the fame you gained through Slum Dogs. Bother yourself to look back at Mumbai footpaths, Dalits, Christians, inopportune Muslims, Sikhs, Tamils and many others. Look at the deplorable condition of ???Bharati Naar???. But that all needs some shame which I doubt the Indians have. You keep sending your agents and our army will keep screwing them. Happy Holiday

A state sponsored terrorism will come back and hit you.
Is it funny that your army is bombing and killing people within its own borders.
You shd be ashamed and accept the guilt rather blaming it on others.
look what you accomplished in ur 60 yrs of ignominous existence.

[That is the reason for hatred of Hindus, its not going to go away, so long as the childrens minds are poisoned in schools by their teachers in this manner..]

Our hate relation is two way traffic. The Indians can not be allowed to use it as a one-way. This hate will rather enhance unless unethical, cunning, betraying, cheater and water-stealer Indians with a black track record would not mend their ways. Next stop - UP ;-)

SHOCKED ? The blatant attitude of Pakis, is not new right.

State sponsored religious hatred is the reason gentlemaen.

-The Subtle Subversion: The state of Curricula and Textbooks in Pakistan.

quote- In May 2002, a group of academics were gathered by SDPI to examine the curricula and textbooks that are presently being used in public schools. The gathered academics shared the view that the curriculum encourages ideas that are incompatible with the ideals of Pakistan as a forward looking modern state committed to equal rights and equitable treatment for its citizens. Moreover, the textbooks are factually inaccurate, poorly written, pedagogically unsound and contain material harmful to young impressionable minds.-end quote.

Shocking revelation indeed, which was never discussed on these forums by many. Thus, in my opinion, the problem lies in regular municipal schools and not just in Madrassas

That is the reason for hatred of Hindus, its not going to go away, so long as the childrens minds are poisoned in schools by their teachers in this manner..

Pak military and its proxies like Taliban will not be cooperative unless they are made to understand what they will progressively loose by not cooperating, NOT what they will gain by cooperating. We have tried the latter over last 8 odd years. Return of NWFP , Baluchistan and FATA to Afghanistan must be put on the table, it will provide the leverage US needs . It will either shock pak into compliance or Afghanistan gets access to Arabian Sea. Either outcome is pretty good. Bottom line for Pak is if they cannot control their own country they do NOT deserve to keep it in the current format. It will be rearranged. So smaller nation states that are created in the process will opt for peace .

[Al-Marri admitted he trained in Al Qaeda camps and stayed in Al Qaeda safe houses in Pakistan
between 1998 and 2001, where he learned how to handle weapons and how to communicate by phone
    and e-mail using code]

So that means that learn how to shoot or handle some weapon one has to go all the way to Pakistan? Amazing. How about visiitn some RSS, Bajrang Dal or any other Dal's training camp in India. After all there are skilled people like cdolomnel Prohait?
Only naive would trust some newspaper story

What these two Indians have written is not something out of the blue, as no one can expect anything else other than spitting venom against Pakistan by its arch rival and traditional enemy India, but what has disappointed me is the biased and unfair approach of a magazine none other than Newsweek, whom I would always reckon as the flag-bearer of honest and impartial media. I ask the Newsweek team, that if any Pakistani writes such type of piece about India, will they publish it? Certainly not because I know people who have been sending detailed and logical write-ups to the Newsweek, Washington Post, New York Times and many others but were always refused to be accommodated. Elders said and I strongly believe that when your enemy says something against you that enhances your credibility because you can???t expect anything else from your enemy.
M/s Newsweek! Believe me I am highly disappointed seeing your discriminatory, biased and unfair trend.

These two Hindu writers wrote this article just to under mine Pakistan,Pakistani army and our ISI.They act like they know everything about Pakistan and Pakistani army, and their heart is full of compassion love for Pakistan(just by being in singapore and Indiana,USA but you are still indian hindu`s),ha,ha,ha.Let me give you two a lesson of ground reallity and the same goes for the other indians(jaggu my boy you too, try to be decent in your comments although we know thats a rare thing to find in Indian hindu`s for Pakistan).First of all, who are you two Indian hindu`s telling Pakistan and Pakisatani people how to run our country.Secondly,India is our enemy and dont even think for split second that your sweet talk(deceiving hindu nature) can make us forget that.Thirdly, when your native country India has 17plus consulates in Afghanistan along the Pakistani border, please dont tell me these consulates are to issue visa`s to poor Afghan`s to go to very rich and beautiful India for holidays or to live.India, whose own population of more than 66% uses open fields as toilets.Let me tell you what your cosulates are doing in Afghanistan, supporting insurgencies in Pakistan including Taliban(TTP) especially in Swat(pictures of Mullah Fazak ullah were taken at Indian embassy in Kabul) and Baloch Libration Army(BLA) Bhughti`s grandson`s pictures were taken outside your RAW offices in New Delhi with your RAW`s chief .I could go on and on my wicked Indian neighbours(mind you, I am an ordinary Pakistani nothing to to do with our government or politics). But think,if we ordinary Pakistani`s know so much, imagine how much our patriots in the Pakistani government, Pakistani army and ISI know.Just to give you a scary thought, dont give us suggetions on our nuclear program because its in very safe hands and away from your frinds of TTP and our A-bombs are meant for India anyway. So if you Indian`s think about carrying out some kind of adventure on Pakistan`s eastern borders,I would suggest dont even think about it.I hope you got the picture.

      Are these Hindus as well

PESHAWAR: Suspected militants have warned female teachers and students in Peshawar to wear a veil and accompany male members of their families while going schools, or face action.

A resident of the Achini village (upper), who asked not to be named, told Dawn that suspected militants had sent threatening letters more than once to the people of the area asking them to spend one year with a Tablighi Jamaat but the residents had said they were poor and had to work to earn livelihood for their families.

???They again contacted the people, especially the well-off, to pay donations to them from Rs50,000 to Rs100,000 and had collected huge amounts from the people,??? a source said.

During their visit to the Government Girls??? Primary School in Achini on Wednesday, armed men, who were about one dozen in number, asked the women to wear a veil, the source said.

He said the militants also warned men in the area to wear caps, or face action.

???They also fired on a boy who was not wearing cap and tried to flee, but he luckily escaped,??? he said.

    DIVIDE PAKISTAN TO ELIMINATE TERRORISM
Pakistan's soil is currently used 100% for all terrorist activities around the world. Pakistan is hijacked by PUNJAB'S MILITARY DICTATORSHIP and INTER-SERVICES INTELLIGENCE (ISI). It has become inevitable to disintegrate Pakistan to combat terrorism.

    Dear Paks,

its understandable that you are so dismissive of Indian origin peoples posts.Mind you, you are selective in your readings of Pak posts. Ahmed Rashid from Pak is a serious contender of your misplaced patriotism and to me he is a patriot who wants to uplift his country. Rhetoric aside, its getting to a point that you will have to either join him or alternatively theTaliban pretty soon. Choose wisely.Unfortunately, most of you are not understanding the famous expression- think outside the box.

Indians are that much worried because it is happening in their neighborhood, that spillage into India may cause damage to their nation they have been building everso carefully, with all the diversity involved.

    Mehboob, C. Milner, Sohail,
The fact that the authors are Indian or of Indian origin, and likely Hindu, does not negate the value of what they write. It is up to the reader to make a carefull assesment of what is written and take into account some degree of bias. To assume their argument lacks any merit because of their background is fallacious. While their background may skew their view, it also likely gives them more familiarity and more insight than say an American journalist who has spent limited time in the area. Similarly, a Pakistani writer would have his own biases, but that should not automatically render useless to the reader the views he puts forth..
It is incumbent upon the reader to discern, but not assume bias, and adjust his take-home message accordingly.

  • Posted By: Shaleel @ 04/29/2009 12:29:01 PM

My response is to the two gentleman who pointed out that the authors are of Indian origin and therefore it is likely to get skewed. I have one message to you, coming from an Indian Muslim ( more proud to be Indian than Muslim if you please). Gentlemen, please get real. Whether the authors are Black, Brown or Blue (for that matter) is insignificant. What has been said in the Article is 100% true. The Article is about Pakistan and only one bit about paramilitary forces in India has been mentioned, This also brings to the fore about the way the Pakistani Government has been feeding propoganda to their own people ( and I also have Pakisatni friends), in that India is the enemy that needs to be vanquished. Wake up! The Givernment of Pakistan has been dealing with a group of people who dont believe in democracy, and believe in dehumanising one half of any population, and have gone against Islamic tenets itself. The Government of Pakistani with giving vast swathes of land to a known terrorist group in return for peace. The Government of Pakistan has been found wanting in dealing with these terrorists, Democracy really needs a chance in Pakistan and that definitely cannot happen when the Generals have sway.

Wow both the authors from India, a foe native country of Pakistan, how one could expect there thought will be rational? Secondly dont know the ground reality and assuming there thought. there ill-will is the part of this article. Mehboob Rabbani -Gilgit Pakistan

This article is written by two people from Indian(Hindu) background. So as a person from a western country I dont expect them to be even slightly or thats even a big word, be in favour of Pakistan or Pkistani army. They can only write something that would eventually favour India and Indian cause

Though some realities are exist there. But i raise some questions. Who support Mr. Zia Ul Haq as a strong ally in war against Soviet Union in Afghanistan? What was the role of United States in critical time of arising of Bangladesh from Pakistan, while US. was "sincere" partner of Pakistan? Why the most loud compaighner of Democracy, support and fully favoured the millitary President Mr. Musharraf with all his Human Rights violations for so long period of time? Why United States is not merely willing in the dispute of Kashmir that is agreed upon critical issue between two Neuclear States? So far as aid is concerned majority of peoples of Pakistan dislike such aid that is associated with humiliation, killing of own peoples with drone attacks, emerging of others long term issues. Pakistani are independent, hard workers, creative who even hate such sort of support.
