    * Obama supports giving $900M in "aid" to the Palestinians. Yes, those same lovely people who where celebrating in the streets on 9/11
    * Obama's so called "stimulus plan" includes $2B in federal money to ACORN. Yes, those same lovely people who openly engaged in democrat-backed voter fraud in the last two presidential election cycles
    * Obama's foreign policy seems to consist of traveling around the world apologizing to anyone who will listen. He even congradulated the Europeans for their "leadership" in world affairs, which would be laughable if it weren't so mis-guided and sad.

          I feel badly for the children in Palestine, Pia, I really do. The adults? Not so much. They made their own bed, now they must lie in it. As Golda Maier (sp?) famously said, "there will only be peace when the Palestinians learn to love their own children more than they hate us."

          The Palestinians could improve their children's situation immediately if they would only cooperate with the world community and seek peace with their neighbors. Therefore, the Palestinian people are responsible for their children, not the US taxpayer.

                  I hear what you're saying, but the Palestinians need to renounce the madness as a people. You can't have it both ways. We didn't want to send Nixon home in 74, but he was a crook and we had to do it. It was an embarrassment for the country, but it showed the world that if you break the law, you get the boot. They need to reject whats going on over there and things might improve. It hasn't been working for them so far.

                  I passed 100's of kids in Iraq standing beside the road with their hand held out for food. It is sad. You would have no heart at all if you didn't think so. They are still paying the price for not getting rid of Saddam years ago. Sending Hamas or anyone a bunch of money won't do us or the child any good. Taking food over there and personnally giving it to the people who need it- I'm all for it because that is a reasonable thing to do.

        Ben - here in my hometown (a large midwestern city), several ACORN staffers were charged with various crimes relating to election fraud and election tampering. This was also the case in many cities across the US, and low and behold, it was also reported to have happened in 2000. But surprise, surprise, the MSNBC and other liberal media outlets "forgot" to report it. That is your tax dollars (if you pay any, and I'm guessing not) and mine being used to prop up a ideologically skewed, politically motivated organization with a past history of election fraud.

    The above photo of the poor woman who had to have to have a face transplant because her husband shot her, haunts me, very tragic. One can only imagine what she has been through. It certainly puts things in perspective for me and my vanity. It also places more reality to what is happening in Iraq with our troops getting shot at and of course the Palestinian conflict.

    President O reached as far left as he could, Second point - he meet with Republican leaders and corporate executives. When did this take place, was it in proportion to the time spent with democrats? Are you rewriting history or do you know something I do not? Are these the premise for the article? As to approval ratings: the item left out is often as important as the item mentioned. President O's disapproval rating is at 50% on handling the economy.

    Meteoric rises are most often followed by at least a revision to the norm, sometimes hard. Like the crash in stocks or real estate. Stats are Stats. I believe the top has been rung in President Obama's ratings and there is no place to go but down and sideways. The problems stated in the article are true, but his real economic rating in the world will be tracked by the 10 year treasury note rate. A one percent rise in the rate will change the price over 10%, who will buy my tuppins?

        News flash, the religous right of the party isn't any more extreme than the fiscal or defense republicans. They tend to be more vocal about things, but are right of center for the most part.             Wasn't for Palin last time and won't be for her in 21012. I used Pelosi as an example of being out of touch with her party. People in both parties have led us down the wrong road. I'd rather have Palin than Pelosi, but most would.

    Why Obama's approval ratings are so high is beyond me. He has put our children into debt so far that our grand children will be paying for it. You thought Bush was bad but you can't see it with this clown? I get it - Obama wins, he spent TWICE as much in 100 days than Bush did in 8 years. He ORDERED Chrysler to work a deal with Fiat - since when does the prez direct a private company on how to conduct business? If he somehow manages to blow smoke up your wazoos again next election he will sink this country into oblivion. Otherwise it's kind of like waiting until you are thirsty to install the plumbing and get a drink of water. Cap and Trade is smoke and mirrors.
    BLUE DOG DEMOCRATS - We NEED them in congress. They are actually doing what they were elected to do - represent the people who voted for them.
    MOVEON.ORG - grow up, and get out.
    IRAQI Leaders - Don't trust them for an instant. Just inform them that if they try to hurt us, we will hurt them.
    AFPAK - Who says WE have to pay for it? Let the Afghans and Pakistanies do it. Bring all our troops home from that entire theatre of war.
    EUROPE - They don't tell us how to run the USA, why should we tell them how to run the EU, they are doing better than we are right now.
    ISRAEL and PALESTINE: Their problem, not ours. We have no business helping either group financially. Real civilized people are tired of hearing the jewish and palastinian people complain about past history - enough already, quit looking in the past except to learn from history (that applies to ALL of us) and watch where you are going, maybe you won't keep bumping into things as you move along. The rest of the world owes you nothing - be content with what you have and tolerate your neighbors.
