    It is a real terror to speculate that this mutated swine flu virus was human made on purpose and being used for dark purposes yet unknown.

    Swine flu, Mexican flu... try Lab Flu. and a stockpile of vaccines never sold. A pandemy when the average flu each year shows statistics of 250K-500K die from the flu.

    Well, wats the easiest way to sneak into the US undetected? Wat country in North America has a loose medical infrastructure, and has thousands wanting to cross into the US? YES. This is just a scenario, not that it happened, but something to think about, and prepare for. Other than that, go about ur bizness, be aware of where you are, the people you come into contact with, and be aware of ur own health. Its probably nothing.....

    ..............................................Dangerous Pirates replace OctoMom in the Media Hype Focus after she stayed Top Splash for a month but now now when we have Flu Hype where every minute detail of any sickness is posted all over the media for this week or perhaps continuing next until some new Grande Hypeing Story takes control......With our Hollywood Tonight type news media The News Is The News and The News Runs The News , produces the control over the results of the news, stars in the productions and makes the whole thing unfold and the show happen..........It is all theater!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And what is worse, we drink it all in like it is Soda Pop and we seem to believe it all totally without serious questions!!!!!!!

    We don't need terrorists to spread terror - we have our own media and government officials doing a wonderful job. There is no health crisis, folks. 250-300k Americans get the flu every year. 35-40K die from it. This year is NO different. In fact, from all indications, this is actually milder than many years I can recall, and I've been a nurse for 30 years.

    In 2000, my son's high school had over 100 kids out with the flu in one week. Nobody panicked, nobody recommended closing the schools, and NOBODY bothered to call the CDC, and everyone eventually got well. Most parents just bought more tissues and soup, which is what we're supposed to do.

    In the case of a real public health threat - assuming our public officials can actually diagnose a real epidemic - we would be caught by surprise. That's because our public health system is woefully underfunded. Our rates of venereal diseases like gonorrhea and syphillis are rising after years of declining, we have an estimated 4 million undiagnosed cases of Hepatitis C (as opposed to 1 million cases of HIV) in this country, and our budgets for inspections of food, water, restaurants, nursing homes and day care centers have been slashed. The FDA is no longer a credible watch dog for new medication, our children are abusing their parents' pain killers in record numbers, and rates of type II diabetes are skyrocketing.

    Swine flu? Should be way down on the priority list of public health threats that need attention.

    We have a critical shortage of registered nurses, which is predicted to get even worse as the population ages. Why is this a problem? Because it is not the doctors, scientists, epidemiologists, and certainly not the politicians or media who are on the front lines in any public health crisis - it is the nurses.

    If we really want to work on preventing a public health crisis, we should start by better funding our public health agencies, our nursing schools, and our inspection agencies, not the CDC.

    And if we really want to figure out how to deter a terror attack, we should start by turning off the 24/7 news stations. They've done a better job at spreading terror than the jihadists could ever do.

    There is very little ongoing research into influeza. The countires of the world just choose to sit back, wait until the next pandemic and then go into a panic mode. Influenza is not a "sexy" disease, so the dollars are never available for adequate research. You get wahtyou pay for.
