What a bunch of prudes! Now everyone's a cybercop. Facebook fascism. Everyone one has the power over their own mouse, so why don't they just click somewhere else.

Puritan Task Force: I just think there are better things to do than this with one's life?
It's great they are working but I would VERY disappointed if this is what all of my education came to.
There must be better things to do with your life.
How about this FB rule: No Pictures! This way people would be forced to complete a full sentence hopefully in English.
Then, the Porn Police could look for inaappriate language rules. Like sentences ending with a preposition! Now that would be a higher calling perhaps.
Good luck tommorow looking for nipples! Holy Mary and all that is good, you have to kidding me!!!!
I love your comment!
Facebook's porn cops really do a tough job.

Hey Guys, you are right. Facebook has evolved due to the porn cops.

I personally think Facebook is leading the industry in helping people stay away from content inappropriate to them. I absolutely rely on it to stay in touch with friends and world events by now. They're a model for others to follow.
My firm started out in 1987 as a computer systems engineering service and since then has evolved into a cyber investigations and computer systems service. Our primary focus is on dating scams and con artists online. Those folks at Facebook have thier work cut out for them and years worth of job security.Keep up the good work.
I was a member of facebook and then facebook deleted my profile and disabled my account permanently and told me i wasnt allowed back on facebook ever again because I had to many friends on my friends lists and on my buddy list. So I believe what facebook did to me was wrong, unfair and unjustified. Now I joined up with myspace and myspace has treated me very fairly and very nicely. So in my honest opinion, I believe MYSPACE is way better than facebook and always will be. And this is the real truth.

Beauty is subjective. I personally don't really care to see: anyone in thongs, anyone (yes, man or woman) breastfeeding, anyone take a deuce on the can and many other things. However, because beauty is subjective you will find someone who finds at least one of those things beautiful. Facebook is not family friendly. Why? Because it wasn't started out that way. It was started as a network for college students to become connected to one another. A great deal of college students act crazy and like to post crazy pictures on their pages. Did facebook delete these acts back when it started? Sometimes. I've been there since the begining and ever since they've started letting people outside of college networks join there has always been one issue or another. The more people of different demographics you have on a network the more problems. And to the mothers out there that think all of your facebook friends want to see the beauty of breast feeding your child how about posting a picture of your baby's daddy trying to breast feeding them too. Not so beautiful now is it?
A guy named Ronnie Frazier got into my facebook and sent pron links to my friend under my name. He was able to get my phone numbers and he even had the nerve to text me a not so nice text That is how I found out who did this, Do people have nothing better to do.
wow, beaver.
di you have nothing better to do but post your somment? three times? in a row? insulting every youth in America?
nope, you probably didn't.
and in fact, it really doesn't have to do completly with the parents. It really does have to do more with peer pressure and trying to fit in. its all about projecting an "image" about themselves, and if some people do that by flashing their assests to a camera and then posting it on facebook (not that i agree with that at all. in fact, i am quite utterly disgusted by it, but im not going to compeletly judge them based on that), then so be it.
It'll just get deleted anyway. right before someone else posts another one.
Everyone has an opinion of what he or she finds "obscene"...and though I think some content shouldn't be as accessible as it is (ie:, links to porn) the bottom line is ANYTHING a person finds acceptable WILL be found to be obscene by someone else and vice versa, and in the process of browsing the Internet , it is inevitablle that what a person may find to be objectionable AND acceptable will reside on ONE site.. like Facebook...in an effort to respond to those things that MOST users flag as unacceptable, Facebook HAS to construct some sort of a "code of acceptance" guideline so it can continue to keep its present members and hopefully attract new ones daily..Whether or not "Facebook" is the forum for what you DO or DON'T find acceptable, let's not fuel the fire of censorship based on people's differing opinions...That is why our various freedoms are protected by the Constitution.. Feel free to start your OWN "Facebook" that has what you're looking for!!
This is hilarious. The problem that all of you ignorant people seem to be missing is not the fact that underage people are uploading these images. The problem is that the kids are thinking about and wanting to do these things in the first place.
Say what you want about peer pressure, the media, whatever type of bullshit excuses you want to spout. What it come down to is parents not instilling a sense of decency, modesty, and common sense in their children at a young age. I fail to see why it should be some third party's responsibility to "protect" these "innocent" youngsters from things that all adults should be aware of.
kids were going behind the barn in the 1700's playing peek a boo its all the same except we have the internet wich adults get to see
How disgusting. People out there are getting paid 50 grand to search for butts, nipples and pot smoke on Facebook while I know 4 qualified office people who can't even find jobs that pay 9 bucks an hour. Censorship is POINTLESS! For every miniscule item they remove from Facebook, 100 others will be downloaded. How about letting people make their own decisions - if people on Facebook don't want to see risque images, don't become friends with the people who post them. I'm sick of everybody being treated like babies because a few can't handle reality. Guess what people - body parts exist, if you don't beleive me, go look in the mirror and stop acting like you've never seen them before. All different kinds of people enjoy different things, and forced conformity makes me ill. For god's sake people, GROW UP!

Maybe facebook shouldn't waste it's time trying to be advertiser-friendly and should focus more on being user-friendly. As it turns out, it is nearly impossible to get a hold of any one in customer service, as they do not respond to e-mail questions and do not have a number at which you can reach them. I don't believe that "real people" even work at facebook, let alone "internet cops."
why the fuc would you want to get through to customer service
I LOVE this misconception that everyone has that there is some way to police sites like Facebook. Ignore the fact that if people can't be slutty online, they will just find some other way to do it, and lets just focus on the facts. There is no way to absolutely rid the internet of "indecency"...censorship is a losing battle. Maybe if we as a culture weren't so ashamed of our bodies (*GASP!!* A NIPPLE!! My two year-old will be traumatized for LIFE!!!) we wouldn't have to give people such pointless jobs as going through endless databases of pictures. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, if you're going to get so upset over what some sluttly retards post on their page, you should just log on to analretentiveconservatives.com and just keep your fricking kids OFF the internet. (That's a loosing battle as well, but if it helps you sleep at night, then good)
