It's great they are working but I would VERY disappointed if this is what all of my education came to.
There must be better things to do with your life.

How about this FB rule: No Pictures! This way people would be forced to complete a full sentence hopefully in English.
Then, the Porn Police could look for inaappriate language rules. Like sentences ending with a preposition! Now that would be a higher calling perhaps.

I just recently (within the last month) completed a speech for one of my college classes on porn and sexual predators on social networking sites like FB and MySpace. I included a total of 11 sources that I had to quote from, so I know my info was accurate because they all reported the same information.Facebook had the best record for cleanliness out of all these sites. I applaud Facebook for its diligence in maintaining a clean site for its users because there are so few other places to go (online, on television, even on radio) that strive for cleanliness. It really has little to do with religion for me personally, I just appreciate the fact that if I am on my FB page and my 8, 11, or 12 year old children are sitting next to me, I can have confidence that they are relatively safe from having to hear their mom say, "Turn your head until I get off this page" or anything else of that nature. Not to mention the fact that I have no interest myself in being forced to look at someone else's indecency in public forums. Thank you very much, FB, for striving to maintain this level of excellence.

I have to agree.........keep the porn crap to the sites that folks who want that stuff visit!! There has to be some 'safe space' for crying out loud!! The FB porn cops have still got some work to do since I got that crap popping up on applications for super pokes the other night as well as another application! I left myspace because of all that mess....FB might have to be next if they can't clean it up!

Well they still have some work to do then cuz I got a bunch of porn crap on my facebook just the other day from 2 different places!!! I left myspace......hope FB can clean up their act! Been really happy till now but WILL NOT put up with that kind of stuff when I didn't look for or ask for it!!!!! If you can't keep it off the applications as well we may as well start a different medium that REALLY doesn't let that industry in!!!!! Those of us that don't seek that stuff out should have the right to not get it popping up on us either!!!

Personally Dani_Gurl, I'd be happy if you and the rest of the "younger generation" simply learned to spell and write in complete sentences. A little literacy goes a long way.

Actually i am one of those people who dont agree with people baring their skin its not cool its not attractive and people need to realize thats why our younger audiences are thinkn its ok to be sexually active and pooping out kids at 11,12,and 13 its rediculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have younger brothers and young minds are very impressionable and you cant keep them away from everything i actually think we should do a hell of alot more to censor this i am 20 years old and not once have i ever exposed myself in any manor like some of these kids are i dont do drugs and thats NOT acceptable the younger generation is our future and to be honest that kinda scares me b/c theyre all gunna be porn stars prostitutes and druggies because theyre gunna get started and hooked soo young that they wont be able to bounce back people need to not only look at the internet but look at the movies because nowdays PG 13 has nudity in it i mean seriouslY wht the hell is wrong with the world nowdays so i want to say thank you for your efforts in cleaning the site up a bit but there still needs to be more covered up

Ok all the people making this about religion and politics and more than it really is grow up. I dont agree with everything fb does but it is theiir sit and there has to be some kind of censorship and we all cant have it our way. Unfortinatly for those who disagree, majority rules and most people dont feel comfortable seeing people naked and doing drugs or whatever. But you do have a choice and you dont have to join facebook, everybody has there rules but if you dont want to follow you dont have to join its really that simple.

Yuck?? Seeing a breast used for it's natural function is so offensive? Or a woman engaged in nurturing her baby? No one makes this kind of complaint with all of the exposed breasts for the purposes of sexual titilation (no pun intended) readily available on the internet and elsewhere.

The only thing you will find wrong with my Facebook is a smear campaign, just like you will find in 90% of the community. The force and funding being put into dividing myself and my wife is insulting. If you investigated my Facebook about a year ago, a hacker pasted a picture of his penis on my Facebook. I guess the purpose would have been to turn away my friends and family, and to keep me from being "NETWORKED" with "NORMAL" people.

We are way out there in this country. We want all the freedoms without the flack. All I hear is how Obama is wooing the Europeans and their Socialistic government. Everyone is overjoyed to hear about their health insurance picked up or some other free gift that the Euros engage in. Well guess what, they don't have the hang-ups we have here. Worried about a nipple? PLEASE! Want free stuff? Your going to get it all, breast feeding is the least of it. Smile if your a liberal.
