What is absolutely appalling is that there is nothing in this magazine or any other liberal rag about A.C.O.R.N. and its voter fraud the money they embezzled or the fact that Congress refuses to investigate.

Disgusted that she is our First Lady and furthermore, We are all sick and tired of hearing about her ARMS.......Michelle Obama is not attractive in any way......the media just slobbers all over themselves talking about the way she is is so attractrive and charming........not so!! She is ugly!! And she has horrible taste in what she wears!! And we are sick of seeing her on every magazine and hearing about everything she is doing.........we don't hear about her being a Mother....we just hear stupid stuff about her Arms....planting a garden........or what dress she is wearing..........I have NEVER seen a picture of her playing with the kids on the Swing Set!! I bet she doesn't spend much time with her kids!! Michelle Obama.......go away and take your man with you!!!
Hey 52packrat, it is called a photo op you idiot. And since we have had to tolerate your previous mentally challenged administration, in short, SUCK IT UP!
HER MOTHER IS RAISING HER CHILDREN. SHE IS TOO BUSY!
Ridiculous premise -- the numbers don't justify the story. But that said, Michelle Obama is an amazing woman and I am proud that she is our first lady. She is a great role model and it is not surprising that she is very popular.
does this mean that michelle is now running the country? i'm really pretty sure i didn't see her bowing to the saudi king, or using a teleprompter to order dinner.
Michelle is doing the same thing previous first ladies have done. She is not any better or worse -I would argue she is worse. She is also not a better mother to her kids than previous first ladies, unlike what the media is making it sound like.
The left media have attempted to elevate her to this fake pedestal for the wrong reasons, primarily race and as part of their agenda to support the Obama clan, at any cost.
Where was the Laura Bush's coverage in the media when she undertook a large number of projects that were never covered in the media. Why? They were too busy attacking George Bush.
If anything, Michelle's emphasis on BLACK and primariy dealing with african american issues is backfiring. By trying to come across as diverse she is actually divisive, creating and even stronger THEM and US attitude. Instead of embracing diversity she is projecting a racist attitude which is counterproductive.
Her so called "style", spending hundreds of dollars on a pair of shoes, while she is catering to the poor and talking about how everyone is having a hard time in this economy doesn't look to me like stuff of "greatness" to me.
What specifically has she down to justify this implied greatness which previous first ladies have not done? I'm having a very hard time coming up with something. Ohhh yeah, she made the Oprah magazine cover...I'll give her that.
My suggestion to Michelle? Stay out of the way, support your husband and stand for issues that impact everyone, not just african american issues.
But that's just me...
Why should she take a step back? She's not only the First Lady, which is an important role, but she's the first African-American First-Lady. The barriers need to be broken. Stereotypes need to be kicked. And I care to know what's she's up to. She's a role model, too. Beautiful. Smart. And strong. Therefore, if this offends someone, then don't turn on the T.V. or Net. Who didn't hear about Hillary, Nancy, or Jackie? All beautiful and out-spoken. Wake up to Michelle!
Grrlll, I could care less that she's the first african American first lady. Yes, we have heard about all the first ladies before her, but we were more focused on their husbands. My point on stepping back had to do with the fact that she's second to none, including her husband, who supposed to be the most important person in the country. As I said, it's great that she cares so much, I haven't seen a first lady this active since Carter, but once again there was more focus on her husband than her. I wonder how much congress is paying the press to keep us focused on her and not what's going on on capitol hill. Plus, if you look at it, we didn't hear much about Laura, I don't remember much about Nance until her husband past away. And as far as Hillary, we didn't see much of her until she caught her husband puting his carrot in another womans mouth.
Sorry if this offends anyone, but it's time for Michelle to take a step back. It's great that she cares so much, I'm not knocking her for that, but the media has us focusing in on her instead of her husband...you know, the Obama that was ELECTED. One of the first things I saw yesterday is how she bought a $500 pair of shoes for some event, and we griped about some of the crap that Palin was buying, but I haven't really seen any complaining about her spending yet. When you first get onto this web site, if you look on the right side of the page, there's a section to click on to see White House Wear. This article alone states that she is more popular than her husband. There are two other articles on here about her. One hitting her stride, and the other about Sojourner Truth and how Michelle thinks she would be viewed by Truth if she were still alive. Who did we focus on more in the last two presidentcies, the President, or his wife. I seriously doubt the Bushbashers have much to say about Laura. If there's anyone we need to watch in that house it's the President and the stunts he's pulling.
