A Conversation with Barack Obama

Four months into his term as Commander-in-Chief, Barack Obama has had little time to reflect upon his achievements in office. Last Wednesday, however, as he traveled to Phoenix to receive an honorary degree from Arizona State University, President Obama paused to give NEWSWEEK's Jon Meacham a rare glimpse into his world. In a thirty-minute conversation aboard Air Force One, the two men discussed Obama's successes and regrets in his first few months, his strategic goals in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran, and family life in the White House. Photographs and selected excerpts:

Mr.Meacham since you have now spent time with our new president I hope your opinions of him will give your responses to questions about him & his decision will be given with some insight of the person. You wrote a very good article I enjoyed the photos outstanding how did you get so lucky to interview him on Airforce one. Obama has taken the heat from the left & Right and tries tio stay centered as much as possible.Hope he earned some respect from you .Saw your interview with O'reilly and didn't know if you would make it out alive. Keep up the honest work iof you can. Thanks for the effort to find out the truth about our most intelligent President.

Newsweek is nothing more than a shameless cheerleading propaganda outlet for Obama who do they think they are kidding? " A highly logical approach" ? Is that is reference to the disgustingly irresponsible spending that will put future generations in debt? Spare us please.

This man is definatly the master of making people change even some of there most garded opinions. He is definately a very impressive man. He is so impressive I am very uneasy about him. I haven't made up my mind yet but he fits the mold of what Satan is going to be able to manipulate even some of Gods most elite. This opinion has nothing to do with him being black , it has everything to do with ideas and the direction he is taking this country along with Harry Reed and Nancy Pelosi to mention a few.
