I could care less how they feel. They've supported an obscene political movement with a platform that calls for the murder of little girls who want to go to school and now it's come back to haunt them.

Instead of blaming the US for its troubles and continually looking to the US for money, Pak should fix its own problems. Fellow-Sunni countries like Saudis should help.

US economy is in dire straits and does not need additional "blackholes" of revenue wastage like Pak. Neutralize its nukes, use drones to get rid of the leaders of Taliban and Qaeda and get out of Pak. It is not our responsibility to continually keep Pak clothed, fed and weaponized. For a so-called "soverign" nation, Pak depends too much on US money.

For those morons here who like to pretend Pak is a wonderful supporter of the US, consider the fact that Pakistan created the Taleban and Pakis actively support (to this day) the Al Qaeda. Any money and weapons given to Pak ultimately filter down to the Taleban and nuclear weapons.

Here's the standard Pak plan and we should wise up to it by now: 1) Fund and train the Taleban and ask the US for money to fight them. 2) If the US doesn't cough up the money right away, catch a Taleban/Qaeda person and claim that he is no. 2 in Al Qaeda (they have an infinte number of no. 2's apparently), 3) if this still doesn't work, attack some tribals preferably in unfriendly areas and claim that 1000 Taleban have been killed, and 4) if this still doesn't work, go back to 1).

Do you think we are fools to keep giving you money? We have our own problems now. Go away. At least learn to work in some call centers like honest Indians rather than try to make money through begging and blackmailing. You should be ashamed to be perpetual beggars. You cannot maintain a country solely on money from US and Europe. You need to learn to work for yourselves. Get out of the madrassas and build some factories for God's sake, like the Chinese.

Let us dissect meaning of Sovereign
One of the main criteria of sovereign state is to exercise de facto control over its territory.
Which Pakistan don???t have, Control over its all territory, NWFP, Waziristan, FATA, Baluchistan.
Together this province counts more then 60% of Pakistan territory.

An important attribute of sovereignty is its degree of absoluteness. A sovereign power has absolute sovereignty if it has the unlimited right to control everything and every kind of activity in its territory.
As mention before Pakistan has no control over this tribe area since its inception, Mention area above don???t believe in the law of Land, they have their own laws. So question arise where is the writ of the state?

Having served two tours of duty during the 60's most of it in Asia I saw first hand the actions of what was then know as ugly Americans.
The problem is there are far too many people who do not see other nations and their people as human. Very evident in many of the posts in this forum.
That people in the world have an opinion of Americans that when expressed we find shocking should come as no surprize.
Since there are few Americans in Pakistan much of what they see is what is actually presented in the media.
One prime example is that Dick Head I mean Dick Cheney who is running around extolling the virtues and even the necessity of resorting to 19th century techniques for eliciting false confessions as a part of our culture.
There is a moral and intellectual bankruptcy that exists and has always existed.
One would think that in a country made up of so many ethnic and religious groups it would be minimal but the fact is we have enacted and have to enforce "hate crime" laws to control it as best we can even here in this country.

Regarding Pakistan's nuclear arsenal and the current expanision of that country's program, yes, they have a right (loet's say that here and forget about Iran and North Korea, okay?) -- but any right it has is not with *our* dollars that we have given for a specific purpose. American foreign policy is not a tool to be used by India against Pakistan. Where was India throughout the entire cold war? On the side of the Soviet Union. Ordinary citizen's memories might be short, by the State Dept's are not.

They fund all nationalist movements in PK including the Balochi resistance. Why are there so many Indians in Afghanistan? India is the biggest threat to the US and Americans just don't want to admit it. PK has always been a friend to the US. You cannot say the same about the untrustworthy Hindustanis. They plotted with the Soviets to stop PK and US's support to Afghanistan during the '80s. Indians failed miserably. Now they claim to be best friends with the US while taking away jobs every day from them and export their smelly people to the US by the plane loads.

NATO Generals are on public record for saying the Afghan war is unwinnable and Iraq has as much violence today as it did prior to the surge. Mark my words, the day the US leaves Iraq it will fall to a mix of Iranian influence and anti-US Iraqi parties.

The reason why the US is engaged with Pakistan is because there is no other option. Hillary Clinton has publicly stated on two separate occasions, that the US made huge mistakes in the past when it ignored Pakistan and walked out on them post-Soviet departure. This is a time to think about our mistakes and make ammends, not bark rhetoric and talk about destroying nukes when we don't even know how many there are or where those nukes are located.

Please realize that the Pakistani military has developed the capability to deliver nukes not just in all corners of India, but all the way into Israel. You think they won't take out all the US bases in the region, pretty much all of India and Israel as well when the US goes in guns blazing?
