Pal, you might not like Sotomayor because Obama elected her, and that's fine, Don't however insult my intelligence, and that of others by pretending that the reason you don't like her nomination is because you know what she "belives" in. Fact is pal, you don't know *** about what she believes in or not. Fact is pal that up to a few hours ago you did not know who Sotomayor was at all..... And now you "know" all these things about her because Limbaugh told you so?

This is not the first time I remind you "pal" .... This is America. The President get's to select the candidate, not Limbaugh. The senate get's to confirm the candidate based on her testimony, and her qualification. SImple as that. If her qualification are good enough, and they are better than Alito's, and Bork (check their experience and record before they were nominated) , and her answers are good enough for the Senate, then she will be confirmed.... And Rush Limbaugh, and every Right Wing fanatic out there can cry for a month, and get used to "Bend Over" as the Fatso pill pupper puts it all the time.

I am sure in the long confirmation process Judge Sotomayor will be asked to speak for herself, and then you will "know" what she believes in because she said it, not Limbaugh. I am sure in the long confirmation process she will be attacked by Republicans, just as Democrats attacked Alito, or Roberts, or Borck....... Is politics is expected, and is smart to see what the opposition party get's out of a fight , BEFORE they get into the fight.

And that takes me to this point. In the end your sorry ass party has to make up it's mind. You want to win some moral vicotry for the Right by making a lot of usless noice, for that's about all you are going to do in practical terms, or you want to win the war against the Democrats for the popular vote?

Empathy is interesting, in most cases when expressed is the equivalent of telling a man with no legs you understand exactly how he feels because you once stubbed your toe.
If one has not walked in anothers shoes expressions of empathy fall short.
None the less Empathy usually translates to compassion for the plight of others.
That Republicans would see this as an unacceptable human failing is but another example of the fact those compassionate conservatives" who claim compassion as their own are in fact totally devoid of any semblance of it.
