How is it that the justice system we all live by is never good enough when we don't like the results? We understand the positives and the negatives of this system but the bottom line is the criminal system has ample money and resources to research and investigate crimes. The grand jury system gives them so much latitude that the burden of proof to decide to prosecute is so low most criminal charges are approved with very little evidence. The system will at least give the police/prosecution an opportunity to sure-up their cases against defendants.

In the first case he was never prosecuted and the parents of the boy who was so egregiously violated in the worst possible way that a child can be violated took money! They could have forced and pursued the criminal charges and after a conviction they could have sued him in civil court and they could have made sure a pedophile as people say was taken off of the streets. No they were charged with protecting their son and they sold out. Why would you allow your child to stay with someone you didn't know...and please don't tell me they "KNEW" Michael Jackson. If i were that irresponsible as a parent I would have been criminally charged with neglect or something more serious.

so while this man is dead...does it make people feel superior to talk about things that they can't understand? I can only say that you can't understand a person until you walk a mile in their shoes. Do I think he had problems..yes! Do I think he molested children...no. Child molesters molest their own children too.

Those of you bashing a dead man should be ashamed of yourselves. Try to have some compassion, okay? MJ was not tried and convicted for raping anyone!

It seems pretty obvious that Jackson was not an emotionally well man. Given his background of immense childhood stardom and childhood physical/sexual abuse, how could he be?

However, the real criminals, in my opinion, are his parents, and the parents that repeatedly allowed their young children to be around him as an adult, unsupervised, after the first allegations surfaced. Acquitted or otherwise, what responsible parent allows their child to spend time with a man who was at best, weird, and at most, a pedophile, all for the sake of a little publicity?

Jackson was not the person only who should have been prosecuted.

And whatever you may wish to say about the adult he became, as a child, and as a musician and entertainer, he was unparalleled.

Seriously? This is what you find appropriate to post today of all days. Who or what are you judging? His character? His talent? Either way, it is obvious you are not a fan. Ok. Got it. To then trash the rest of his music and character as though the many of people that actually liked his singing (aside the strangeness of his actions and then some) should be questioned for doing just that - liking him? The day after his death you should be embarassed.

You People who talk about Michael Jackson, being a Pedophile can you show any good proof that he did anything worng, If you can't then why do you keep bashing him even after his Death. Let him rest in peace for it will be Christ who will judge him as he'll judge you as well. If there was any wrong doing on his part then way haven't more parents and Kids come forward. The reason no other has come forward is that the two Kids that said there were molested my Michael Jackson where poor. So as it turns out Both were lying because they wanted a lot of money from Michael Jackson because he was Rich and they weren't.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the dealth of Michael Jackson, he was truely a very talented man. He began is journey into the entertainment world at a very young age and grew up never really knowing who liked him for the person that he was or for what they thought that they could get from him. I'm sure that he endured unbelievable pressures put upon him by his father as a boy and young man and eventually by himself as an adult, to be the best of the best.

The trials and tribulations that one faces throughout life can change them mentally, physically and emothionally. No one really knows what happened to facilitate his need to change his appearence so dramatically in his adult years.

One of the greatest lessons that a person can learn in life is not to judge someone based on what they look like, what they have or don't have, where they live or what you've heard. There are a lot of people out there that I'm sure can testify to the fact that just because they looked or acted different than what many people expected they were treated badly or ostracized because of it.

It is depressing to read how people are placing judgements when they are not qualified to do so. I'm sure that at this time Michael is in Heaven waiting in line to eventually to get to the front and face Peter where then and only then will someone have the right to place a judgement on him.

Michael was a very creative and talented performer with a host of musical accomplishments for which he should be admired. His loss is being felt around the world. Let his children and family also morn his death without continued deformation of his character. "Judge not lest ye be judged". Rest in peace Michael.

I have such hateful feelings for the people saying he was a pedophile when they have no idea. To not know and accuse in such a way just because it's what you may think is so low and scummy. Just because it's what you think, does not mean it's truth. Think about that! Only God know and it's up to him to do what He will do. Not anyone here. To accuse of such a horrible thing but really have no idea. If you are wrong, get ready to be judged yourself one day for all the accusations and crap you chose to spew that wasn't true.

Michael Jackson: a true genius of our times. Lonely, eccentric, and more than a little strange, his life was plagued with people who manipulated and used him. Still, he managed to do good for millions of people. The LiveAid movement never would've exisited if he hadn't insisted that "We are the world". Those who are choosing to speak ill of the dead have obviously forgotten their manners. I was always told, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Everyone has a right to not be a fan, but out of respect for the friends and family and millions of people all over the world mourning the loss of a great artist, people should think about the negativity of their feelings and posts on public forums such as this. May you finally get some peace, Michael. All our love!
