    Let's not forget the fact that the school kept the girl waiting on a bench for 2 hours before they searched her, and never attempted to call her parents. Why didn't they? That's an insane policy. My daughter once fell in school and ripped her pants and cut her leg, and the nurse wanted to see the cut. My daughter refused to take her pants down, so the nurse called me, and I came to school and tended to the cut. Should the nurse have insisted that my daughter remove her pants, citing health concerns? Of course not.     It is a good idea to practice common sense. It's about time. The supreme court usual 5 right wing votes shifted over not because of their change of ideology but because they read the political wind and do not want to further antogonize voters. They can see and feel the country's move and change in electing Obama by a considerable majority. They do not want to further cause damage to their republican right wing party for the upcoming 2010 elections. The civil rights vote was due to the same sentiments Thomas was the lone contemptuos naysayer in both decisions. There is no hope for him. This same bunch...Continue Reading
