    To repeat: NORIKO Hama

This would be the equivalent of the Japan Times running a bio on Pawl Kroogman.
I believe the readers of Newsweek would enjoy a bit of fact checking, including the correct spelling of NAMES of people that articles are written about.

Please correct this Mr. Danyel Grose

What is the obsession with this guy? Keynesian so-called economists, led by Paul Krugman, are vainly reaching into their usual bag of tricks to try to solve the problems of intervention with more intervention, and nothing is working. But they are persistent. They???ll keep scrounging around in that bag the next few months and years. The slump will continue, since none of these tricks has the slightest thing to do with the underlying problems in the economy. All we???ll have to show for them is an empty Keynesian bag and lot more unpayable debt.

Meanwhile, who???s being ignored during this crisis? The economists of the Austrian School of economic thought, the very people who predicted not only the Great Depression, but also the calamity we???re dealing with today.

This woman is crazy. My mother is Japanese and she will NOT buy Chinese food products. Who knows if they are safe!? The Chinese Americans wouldn't even buy Chinese Food. China's environment is so polluted I wouldn't trust anything that comes out of the ground or raised in China! As my mother says if the body has to consume it don't buy Chinese. This Japanese woman should know better! Japanese people are VERY picky when it comes to food. They demand top quality! That's why the farmers in Japan make top quality. They wouldn't make it if the population didn't demand it! I do agree that Japanese business has to have more confidence when it comes to their products. It's all about marketing really. Japan could sell a lot of food items to America and people will consume it, Americans just don't know about it. If Americans can get used to Sushi... they can get used to eating anything else.

But please stop talking about consuming food from China. They first deny that they are the ones who poisoned the potstickers sent to Japan, toothpaste, and lest not forget the baby formula. China needs some major overhaul in their food safety before I consume food products from China.

FYI: The name is NORIKO Hama, not Narika. Re: http://gmba.doshisha.ac.jp/faculty/n_hama.html

I'm confused. If Gross wants to praise Narika Hama, why compare her to someone like Krugman?

....he would be like that little thug getting Ginsu-chopped by Toshiro Mfume in ''The Seven Samurai''. Americans do not like being called ''traitors'' by the smartassed likes of a Krugman, who desires to ensure that no-one enjoys any ''barbeques'', even ''mushroom'' due to the contribution of the BBQ to ''global warming''.
