jbz7879, we'll take that ingenious plan into consideration, thanks. "Do nothing" Got it. Good thinking. Boy, they'll NEVER see that comming. Yet another nobody from an unnamed country telling Americans how to think. Gee. Sure wish AMERICANS werent so arrogant, eh?

why does usa feel threatened by north korea -venezuela-cuba -libya-pakistan -somalia and iran -its ridiculous unless you think about it as a inferiority complex due to historical reasons -
otherwise they are much smaller states who are not trying to compete with any superpower -
their nuclear arsenals will be more for self-satisfaction and defense than trying to annihilate usa -
and the idea of terrorists getting hold of a nuke from a state is as far fetched as obama playing pied piper in the west -if at all there are more chances of terrorists making a home made device in usa itself or even stealing one from the western arsenal as the security in the western hemisphere is rather insufferable as demonstrated by 9/11 itself where a man with a pen knife can board a plane to change the world of americans forever -how crazy does that sound when compared to fears of a nuke

When we have a new Jimmy Carter than all the crazy dictators are out celebrating. The North Koreans, just like Iranians, tell us exactly how they response to the new Carter- Obama.

They will do whatever the want and Obama's incompetence will only strendthen them.
For some reason, niether the ayatollahs nor the North Koreans are impressed with Obama's meetings with movie stars and string of parties in the white house.
You want to see some real firework? wait till the ayatollahs will get their nukes.

With their current aggressiveness, sanctions on North Korea will be supported by nearly all of free world, and possibly China also. Nobody wants this regime possessing nuclear weapons -- found a cool site; Balkingpoints ; incredible satellite view of earth

rrobeson, you obviously have no idea of the indoctrination that North Koreans are put through from a young age. They are made to worship their Glorious Leader as a deity, and are taught to hate Americans from birth. Make no mistake, many would sacrifice themselves for Kim because of the propaganda that fills their isolated minds. The only people who "worry about Muslim nations" are ignorant people like you. Only the fringes of Muslim society believe that killing infidels is sanctioned by God. Those who believe that are extremists, zealots who can be found in all corners of the world preaching the word of many different religions. Islam has nothing to do with it.

who cares? NK is not a muslim nation so we can assume that they don't want to send their entire population to Allah today. That's the only response to a nation that fires a nuke at another nation in the current world in which we live. The only reason Muslim nations worry people is that much of their population is indoctrinated in the notion that dying is much much better than living, espeically when you kill infidels on your way out!

Because, MisterQ, the pentagon nor the administration wants to actually use missle defense because it could fail. Now how would that look if we use our vaunted missle defense system to shoot down some crappy North Korean missle that doesn't work properly and it doesn't work?

Why not set a limit on test radious from Korea and shoot it down if it goes to far -- just because we can. It would be in keeping with the UIN, it would make a point , and it would spoil the value of the test.of any long range missle. No need to annouce the radios, just position a few boats and do it..
